What do people think the attendence will be...
Fortress City hanging around the wrong end of the table and holding their own...
TB's will do their part and sell out i am sure....
More than 15,000 like in the classic "2-0 in your cup final" / "Easy easy easy easy easy " Game..????
It could be a biggy this time....

I'm sure the wagon train will be clogging up the 606 for days before the game and I'm equally sure that the YF will be empty 20 minutes from time as the peasant hordes make there sorry way back to Kirklees.;)

If City Can get in the top Three and the TBs improve on their win yesterday and win their next two games i can see a crowd of around 17000.
If we can get a win at Doncaster on tuesday and Tranmere win or draw mid-week i can see our first five figure crowd of the season this Saturday.tup:

I think if we get 4 points out our next two games we should get about 14,000 for the TB game from what i understand they have only been given the midland rd stand and if needed the away end and to be honest i would be suprised if they did bring over 5,000.
Hopefully if things pan out and rovers beat the tbs and we get a result at Donny we should push into the 10,000 mark i hope

4 points from the next 3 games would not be bad -- as long as the win is against t'udders tup:

I've reminded a few mates of the game this weekend and it seems they will get getting themselves tickets so I think other people will do likewise after the good form we have showed at home this season and our current league position. No doubt if we managed to get a good result against Tranmere next week that would boost the crowd. With it not being on the TV this time should help as that probably knocked about 2000 minimum off the gate last year.

If we beat donnie or draw with them and get a good result against tranmere and we are sitting pretty near the top i think we can draw in 15000+ Easily against the TB'S who should really sell out the 5500 we give them!?
This Tranmere fixture promises to be the best of the season! We always have a good game against them and this year could be even tastier with us and them both up there!
THink we will come close to 10000 if they do their bit and bring a few, although they aren't the best travellers which is a shame!
Still im looking more forward to the top of teh table clash with forest when it comes to it!

To be fair Gull the league game against Tranmere last season was possibly the dullest I've seen for ages!
Having said that though other games against them have been good and Trannies should be a different prospect this season, sounds like Moore (spit) has got them playing well and Shuker will be up for it against Edghill.
I reckon about 15,000+ for the Hudders game depending on how many they bring, unless something drastic happens to them over the next couple of weeks I can't see them bringing enough to open the Bradford End as well as the YFS because they're all royally pissed off with the set up at the moment and they reckon they're gonna get tanked by us!
Kiss of death for us then!

All season tickets and all the away allocation is added into the figure whether or not they turn up/ sell and then shouted out at the game!

The closer it gets the more I'm looking forward to it.
1pm City v Hudders then the England game at 5pm, I predict by about 6pm I'll be totally hammered :D it will probably be earlier if City win, I think I'll stay off here though after getting up early enough to read King Billy's pissed rant in the early hours of Saturday morning.

If you want an accurate figure in that case Beer then you'd have to employ someone to stand at the entrances and keep track of every single person who came in.
The amount of tickets sold is as good as the attendence for me, hardly a massive con on the part of City is it...

Surely the Turnstiles would tell you how many have been entered the ground, the only place you would have to count is the bantams bar as that is the only part without turnstiles.

Im not saying its a con, i am saying that for example the Bristol game official attendance was 7,256. Where as if you take away the tickets that didnt turn up you would be nearer the 5.500 - 6000 mark. Which is about the average of hard core fans who turn up week-in, week-out.
Not a chance in hell will you get 8000+ pay on the dayers for the Tb's game.
There fore the attendace will be nowhere near 15,000:rolleyes:

I spose you could employ someone to count the stubs or pay to have equipment set up on the turnstiles to count for you, but it all seems a bit pointless when they can just read the amount of tickets they've sold out at the end of the game and noone really gives a toss about it (except Beer).

Are you sure they do that with away fans?
Because on the match reports they usually have a precise figure for the away fans. So it's not like they don't know how many tickets they've sold. Why don't they just add that figure to the home fans figure?

They count in the full amount of away tickets (unreturned) during the match!
