It would be a great signing if it is true -- it would also show commitment to the cause by JR

Unless you were thick it was a surefire sending off, last man and already being booked!

1 guy tried to hack JJ down and succeeded just after one failed, he should have been off as well!

Wouldn't suprise me if it's true - Rhodes & Todd probably got in there avoiding another Paul Henderson escapade.

Would get a nice transfer fee now if teams above come knocking.

Yep, I heard it Janjte.

The turdster clearly stated that JJ had signed a new 3 year deal, when Derm questioned him when, he stuttered a bit and said "in the last couple of days".

Derm was a surprised as the rest of us and said after the turd had gone, that he would check wit his own sources and look into it.

Now, hopefully as Ed suggests, JJ has actually been offered a 3 year deal but has yet to sign.

Lets hope so!, didn't he also say something about Doyle & Holmes futures as well?

Hendie on Bantams World, did say that players of JJs type are not as good in winter when the pitches get heavy, still I really hope that a deal has been done

Radio Leeds at lunchtime reported that City chairman will tie up JJ on a 3 year deal early next week, so everything must be pretty close.

Given the length of his present contract, I'll still wager there'll be a few of these spotted round VP come January the first.....

Heard an interview with Todd on the pulse on the way down to VP.

The interviewer asked about the rumours about JJ's supposed 3 year contract and initimated that Todd had said such on a rival radio station....

Todd's reply was "whatever was said was tongue in cheek" and for the benefit of those who keep asking when the loan and short term contracts were gonna be sorted.

Good news if JJ signing goes ahead. Lets hope we can get the loanees signed up as well. Noticed Derby did ok yesterday so maybe they won't need them back.

Derby are willing to sell both, Why people keep missing this vital point. Lee Holmes was nearly flogged too a League 2 side. Doyle isn't actually that highly rated by Billy Davis either although the youth scouts etc like him.

Rhodes has said he's trying to tie up a deal to sign JJ on a longer contract and now he's likely to be warming the bench in Redmond's office Julian can probably get it tied up much quicker.

After tonights forum.

Todd says that the way Doyle keeps playing, Derby will be unlikely to sell him on the cheap now, he expects the lad to be playing in the premiership shortly.

He mentioned that Derby had an offer of 100k for Lee Holmes after he had played just 3 games for us.

He also said that while we have the players on loan, they can't be sold to another club like Neil Roberts was when he went to Doncaster.

JJ has been offered a new contract and talks are progressing, hopes to have it all finalised sharpish.
