I said this earlier in the season before he was dropped and got slaughtered for picking on him, but
Edgehill is shite!!
He really cost us 2 points last night. Having had a shakey 1st half their manager spotted that he was our weak link and all their play came down our left side in the second half, leading to their incredible come back.
Lucky Todd spotted it and got him off the pitch:rolleyes:
Lets hope thats the last we see of himtup:

He was being turned inside out all match. Everything came down that side.

Hmm... he's probably had more indifferent performances than good ones.. but I don't think he's in the 'Holloway' hall of total crapness and is good to have in the squad.tup:

While I agree Edgehill was shite, the second goal came from the right hand side from Wetheralls non-existent push on "poor mans Ronaldo"tdwn:
I cant believe that it took Turd so long to take Edgehill off though:eek: ...Parker played better for the short space of time he was on....No ones mentioned Schumacher yet who's performance sadly returned to his "Invisible man" routine of last season!tdwn:

Edghill is a liability at the moment! Cheltenham's goal was his fault on Saturday, ffs he headed the ball back into his own area!
The second goal yesterday wasn't his fault (that was a combination between Ricketts and Wethers). Parrot, I was right in front of the incident and Wethers did push him, his hands were on his back and he gave him a little shove (he might have gone down easily but it was still a stupid foul to give away).
Their third was definately his fault, the player turned his inside out, and he dived in too quick! I thought he should've taken Edghill off when he brought EJ on and then played with a back 3!

imho - I dont think the kid from Leeds is any better ...edghill is not the best in the world but given a chance to settle in i would prefer experience than yoof anyday.
Whole defence was pants yesterday - should never have given away a 2 gaol lead .
BUT for the sake of controvercy ( if that is how you spell it) I think one of our weakest players has been Ricketts.........
For a guy that size - he does not dominate his area well at all.

Three great saves last night though Ern.
And as you have seen, he is second best only to Paul 'Baby face' Deacon in Bradford at kicking!  :D

Whos fault was it -- the defence for conciding three or the forwards for not scoring more? -- at the end of the day we got a point -- which may come in handy at the end of the season

If the forwards score 3 they have more than done their side of the deal in any match. We lost it because of the defence.

See, how hard is that....
Well said Northern....People never admit the truth in these situations....
Most tend to block em out and blame someone else or deny it ever happened..
You now go on my list of worthy match report posters.....Which includes....You and me lol

Well If your were in the seats then you had a better view than me on the terracing....BUT gauging from both players body language, i'd say they were extremely lucky to get a free-kick...Wetherall was furious at the decision while the diving twat Guy was embarrassed & apologetic after the ref gave the decision!tdwn:

I was stood with Northernbloke. Wetherall had both hands on his back. He did go down like he'd been shot but it was not needed for Wethers to push him, he was heading towards the corner flag. Guy's reaction to them scoring was to provoke the fans, its a shame the camera or whatever it was didn't hit him in the head.
We were discussing tactics. What do you really gain going like for like with substitutions? You might as well go 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 becuse Edgehill was having a nightmare. Stick Graham, EJ and Deano up front or 5 in midfield because they were running us ragged at Donny.
I'm sad to say it but Wethers is coming to the end of his career at this level.

id still have wetherall in then most defenders he still gets us out of a lot of scrapes and his experience is vital, he is city thru n thru and is still a top notch defender in my view, but thats just me
