Same thought went through my mind when JJ went off, but looks like we have the makings of a good passing/attacking team.
Cant wait till next saturday; my first home match of season tup: beer:

The lads played well today after losing JJ early on Joe Colbeck took a while to settle but in the second half, the Tranny full back was 1 bad tackle away from getting sent off. Schuey was back on form & scored with a side footed volley into the kop net . City had a let off in the first half when Greenacre hit a post & the lanky Zola was a handful all afternoon. The defence remained strong with Ben Parker having what i thought was his best performance for the club. A very strong 2nd half performance sealed the victory .

I honestly thought at ht the game had 0-0 written all over it credit where credits due second half great performance which we should have won more handsomely.Agree about Colbeck when he came on struggled but after half time he murdered there full back.
I was very dissapointed at Tranmere though not once did they trouble us in the 2nd half i thought they were one of the worst teams at VP this season

Teamtalk Match Report:
Second-half goals from Mark Bower and Steven Schumacher ensured Colin Todd's men moved from sixth to fourth in the table, one place above Rovers.
The Yorkshiremen have won three and drawn two of their last five games and this victory was the most impressive with Bradford dominating against a Tranmere side who were second in the league before kick-off.
Tranmere had the first real chance of the game on the half-hour through Chris Greenacre. The striker's close-range volley beat Donovan Ricketts but luckily for the goalkeeper the crossbar did his work for him and the ball went behind for a goal-kick to ensure it ended goalless at the break.
Bradford took the lead in the 54th minute when Ian Goodison conceded a free-kick after a foul on David Graham and Bower obliged by heading in Lee Holmes' cross for his third of the season.
Bradford looked odds on to double their lead and did so with 20 minutes remaining when Schumacher grabbed his first goal of the season with a neat volley into the top-right corner.
