Forest will win the league - it's open to any other team for the 2nd spot.

Too early to call:)...
...City are doing great but it's a marathon not a sprint...
.....I'm hoping beyond all hope that we can get a top six place by the end of the seasonjump:... anything else is a bonus.

It would be nice to be in the top two come January -- then if we do loose some of the loan players -- we may hang in there for a play of place

We are playing some very nice football, with some backbone this season. So anything is possible if we can keep this going. But like KK says early doors at the moment.
Hope JJ recovers soon.

I was referring to the the prem promotion season when we were second behind Sunderland - but I would just love to see us promoted ! and the icing would be if we could do it as Champs but like we have said, its a long season ! lol

It certainly is early days but it is a nice feeling not to get slagged by my mates for supporting City. I think the front office should do all they can to keep our loan players then sign them on if possible. Then get more ( bums on seats) at VP in order to put more cash in the coffers to help keep the players we have, then sign a few more as we go on tho the championship next season..
As always..............................
Support from across the pond.

I've got to fancy our lads over the likes of Yeovil and Bristol City. I don't think it's unrealistic to aim for the number two spot. I've got a good feeling about this season.

I reckoned we could get to the playoff at the start of the season, but now I am thinking a higher position is possible. I do still reckon that the playoff are more realistic.
This is the most optomistic our fans have been in absoloutely ages!
Welcome to the forums FKAM (if you're new)

First and foremost we need to pull away from the chasing pack. It's far too tight at the top at the moment. What we need to see happen is a few gaps appear. A win on Saturday should help.
I'm not sure I'll ever be that optimistic I could predict even a top 6 finish at this stage of the season, but we are doing the right things to make sure it happens. Top 2, only in my wildest dreams.
Ever the pessimist!

Thing is tho - we should start picking up some good points in October as on paper September was a hard start - with some good promotion contenders early doors.
October sees us face Udders at Home, Northampton Away Scunny at Home and Blackpool away....
Blackpool and Udders are struggling and we should do well against Northampton who are still scrapping away for survival in the league and Scunny - are just scunny - who we also play in the auto milk screen cup ( or something)
Things are looking up - as long as we remain consistant.

I look at the same philosophy every season
Hit 50 points asap, have a little celebration that current league status is preserved, then assess where you are in the league and how many games remain, then start thinking about auto or play-offs.
