JH has always come across as genuine... I have no reason to doubt the thread at this time.

Don't beleive it for one moment.
There's no way in the world that a potential investor of a substantial amount of money would go straight to a ad-hoc message board and broadcast it.
There's even less chance that the potential investor would break in shop confidentiality and announce ( however lightly veiled) that plans are inplace to pay off Todd.

The boy made good from East bowling (if there's any truth at all) is likely to be an local estate agent that has choosen to invest in a player sponsorship package for next season, in return for two MOTM award dinners.

One thing I do know for sure is that JH is not a millionaire and I believe the amount of money is not large, which will not really change the day to day running of City in any way. However if you read what he has to say in the thread and forget the investment, it does make very interesting reading. Well it did for me anyway.

On this board, C&A, we are all mates, in our own ways, if one of us had some money and tried to invest and help the club out -- it would be hard not to let your mates know -- so maybe its right -- or are we all clutching at straws again -- lets hope not -- JR needs and deserves some good, sound help
