Alan Dowson..

or of late Gareth Edds... I remember the first time i saw him at VP (gillingham i think - i was on holiday for the Norwich game) i sat there thinking that my proclaimations that city were gonna reach the play offs that season were a little misjudged....

why people always pick Torpey Is beyond me , over the bar a few times too many but he was a decent player who attracted the hecklers - since gone on to have a very successful career In the bottom 2 divisions and scored around 170 goals In approx 590 games overall - hardly a failure compared to the likes of Morgan , Dowson and Co .
And as for BeerB LOL ! , you are taking the piss about Crooksy - he's coming to the BBQ so maybe you can tell him what you think of him then !

Tell you what, the way I saw Paul Tierney play this year, I would put him up for it!

Atherton has also been terrible in the past couple of years, as well as Gareth Edds (Now a goalscoring midfielder at MK dons!).

What about the extremely inadequate Hopkin???

Hopkin, Petrescu, Collymore, take your pic of players we wasted money on that year!

Carbone? He was quality mate always gave 100%. We paid too much for him but doesn't mean he was the worst player ever. One of the best players ability wise to have played for this club!

Definitely Willy Topp

He is the only player in the history of the club (1903 to date) to have turned out for the club 11 times without completing a game - started 6 pulled off each time + 5 appearances as sub.

Jorge Cadete (2+5), Luke Medley (0+7), and Scott Partridge (1+6) only players to get close.

The facts are correct. As for the opinion I have not seen anything to suggest Topp will ever be anything but a bit player for City, will be released at the end of his contract, and will never be heard of again.

lets see him play a period of games 100% fit before coming to that judgement - were you in charge of the ducking stool in a previous life?

Darren Morgan followed by Mike Duxbury and maybe Craig Ramage. Reading Alan Dowson earlier in the list, one of his relatives was the photographer at my wedding and told me he is a non league manager these days with someone or other.

As for Willy Topp, not sure if he's the worst but from what i've seen i'm not convinced he's going to fit in at BCFC. He may be the most skilful player in the world but i just can't see him fitting in. You are probably right BWWB, 12 months time i wouldn't be suprised if he's gone...

Darren Treacy is another waster signed by John Docherty who's signings seems to be dominating this list . Go back another 20 years and David Bairstow (who could claim to be a pretty good wicketkeeper) was absolutely useless as a centre forward.

Recently, J Cadete - flattered to decieve when he came on as a sub - then did nothing
Historically - anyone remeber Bruce Walker - he had one good game for us - against Wrexham i think?
