Yesterdays Attendance

There was never in a million years 7,228 there yesterday.

No wonder they didn't announce the attendance during the game because they knew it would be laugh off as a joke.

Serveral season ticket holders who sit near to me weren't there yesterday and it was clear looking round the ground that the gate was low.

The "official" attendance is season tickets + guests (I think)+ pay on the gate. So its never actually an accurate figure.

I agree it was a poor crowd, but Christmas will have a big effect on the crowd too, as well as the way we've been playing obviously.

I don't think Chesterfield helped either, it's about 60 miles away yet there didn't look to be many more than 200 there. What was their official figure?

357 or something like that, I reckoned there were about 300 of them - piss poor turnout - as for the overall attendance it made good reading to see a fgure of 7,220 odd - the TB's were down to 8,700 :-)
