Well things strated very very well....

19 quid in for me the lad and his mate.... Reet do, or so it seemed...

Plenty of festive santas traveled down as well as some guy stood behind us who was on every players back before we even kicked off and continued in the same way throughout....

Hope you got stuck in traffic all the way home mate...tdwn:

The first shot in anger by City came on 33 mins soon followed by the 2nd third fourth and fifth..... Yep we had 15 mins inc time added on out of 45 mins....

But back to basics ...

Donovan... Strange day to watch him tbh...He didnt as a few of them today look that interested...Saying that when called upon which wasn't that often he did his **** well...Especially tipping the ball over the bar in the second half...Great save...

Doyle...Great game again for me....Let down by JJ and his inability to keep the ball...

Wethers...A rock and as my mate said if it wasnt for him and Deano over the last couple of years we would have been uber fooked...

Bower seemed to play alright too..

Clarke..... You had to feel for him as he wasn't and isn't a true left back but he did ok considereing...He was caught out a couple of times but he looked ok...

JJ....In and out of the game and his ball distibution at times was shocking....More later...

Shuey and MBW.... Both had mares for large portions of the game and this i reckon is where we need to get things sorted...Neither are ball winners and today the amount of ball they gave away was a true fooking embarrassment...

Parker...Not a left winger so he did well considering...I like the lad and hope we end up keeping him but as a left back...We missed out today with Black gone, Muirhead baned and Holmes crocked...

Graham....Still continues to amaze me that this guy tries everytime to trap spin and turn with the ball...The mere fact his first touch is 99.9% dogshit should twig with him to try something different....Get rid and bring someone else in ffs....

Deano....Tried his best with the limited ball he was given...Right at the death of the game City put on a bit of pressure and it resulted in a corner and the volume went up...

Deano trotted into the box and the City fans who by now were vastly outsinging the locals turned up the volume even more...Deano looked straight in our direction and gave a thumbs up, but the look on his face showed that of a man embarrassed by the performance of his team..He looked shamed....

Overall....Yeovil were nothing special and only exploited us in our weak spots on our left side..Most of their shots were wayward and way over the bar....
Their forward Leon Best looks a very tidy striker...Thankfully his legs lost coordination at the vital moments...

We were piss poor for the first half hour due to Shuey, MBW and JJ constantly giving the ball away... No one else was to blame for most of the match as the defence did ok and the front two had fook all ball due to these pillocks.....

It was a typical xmas bore draw....We were poor but could still of nicked it on the day.......They are flying in the league and that initself shows how wide open it really is...

The bench looks thread bare and that's very scarey ffs but if Santa is going to come to City we desparately need a strong ball winning central midfielder or two...Also need EJ to get back fit or someone else in......

We were **** for large portions of the game of that there is no doubt, but a point on the road at a side bang in form isn't that bad a result....

Best forgotten less the point of course........

Cheers, thanks for that Tony tup:
Over the past few weeks Graham has done nothing -- cant hold it up and cant score -- what else is a center forward supposed to do? Maybe lay it off, but he doesn't do that either.
If the midfielders cant break the other team up, they need to use the ball well when they get it

I heard that Colbeck might of played today as Todd hinted on the radio but he was taken ill with what they think might be tonsilitis & had to leave him at the hotel.
I'm not saying this is an answer but the side might have balanced more attacking wise, no slight on Ben Parker.
Also, after praising Craig Bentham for his performance again last week, wtf is he doing dropping the lad again. This really gets my goat with Todd. What must Craig be thinking? I've been out injured all season, battle my way back to fitness, get my chance, grab it with both hands then no thanks Craig, warm the bench again so we can play a full back on the wing. What a tosser you are Todd

This is from the Yeovil site so although they had most of the game we had the same amount of attempts and more shots on goal which i find amazing lol But adds to my point that most of theirs were never gonna be chances rather than threatening play..

He had no choice with the squad available and it worked sort of....

Cannot slag him if there isnt the squad to chnge it...Three left sided players gone or injured sort of forced his hand i would say...

So.......

We had a centre half playing at left back?

A left back playing on left wing?

A ball winning midfielder who played well in our last game warming the bench despite it looking like we needed one if this report is to be believed!

And David Graham again proving tat he's no better than JoBo ffs:mad:

Looks like Mr Colin "square peg in round holes" Turd did well again:rolleyes: ....least we didn't lose eh?.....maybe another manager would have put more round pegs in round holes & we may have fluked a win?.....who knows?;)

We had a centre half playing at left back?

He has played there before for Darlo though....

A left back playing on left wing?
Only other option was to play JJ on Left, MBW on right and Benth in centre leaving nothing in reserve whatsoever...So JJ and two central guys played wank..

A ball winning midfielder who played well in our last game warming the bench despite it looking like we needed one if this report is to be believed! After today i would say i agree with you Bentham should of started but prior i would always play my best two first..

And David Graham again proving tat he's no better than JoBo ffs:mad: Not seen him play well yet so im totally in agreement the guy should be dumped and someone new brought in Jan time..

The starting team looked fine to me and made sense ...It was ruined by the professionalism of three players in the middle...

we all predicted Todd woudl relegate Bentham to the Bench Shoelicker was back from suspension - ffs, it's getting beyond a joke now with this happening far too often - Craig did not put a foot wrong last week and looked better than Schuey has for much of the season.

And what the f has happened to Ainge ?

Bentham made a difference and Todd should have started him...We knew bentham was good from his previous performance so why does todd put parker in there when he has a perfectly good midfielder who is actually half decent!

Todd is a strange person at times, he makes some really weird decisions! I should be in charge i would make a difference and we would be in the Top 6 if i was in charge at least! ;)

He treats OUR youngsters with utter contempttdwn: ....Then when he's ripped out the kids heart, confidence & passion for BCFC, you will get the site fcukwits saying they weren't good enough!

I think they are good enough, just handled disgracefully by the Turdster:mad:

No but could have Shuffled Schumacher to the left for that game and put bentham in the middle! instead of a Defender in midfield!

Colbeck
Ainge
Brown
Emanuel
Swift
Penford
O'Brien

Spot on mate. Todd is such a ****ing numpty with regards our own lads. Give everyone else's lads a chance but **** our own boys.

Any Todd backer just has to look at how our kids have been treated. They are the future of our club and they are being royally ****ed over. And over and over again.

tony d
23rd December 2006, 11:51 PM
Bentham needs to stay fit and he will get his shot

Colbeck not lived up to last year

Ainge could be one for the future

Brown not good enough yet another Forest

Emanuel not really a youngster to be fair considering first team experience
added to the fact he was one of the most slated when he played????

Swift nope....

Penford needs to stay fit again and reproduce his form of last year

O'Brien have a word mate......

Most of those above couldnt hold down a regular first team slot....We all know that but whilst the team plays **** you do have to say some should be shipped out to give a couple a chance even if it is only a half...

But the fact we have 7 points out of a possible 12 and we are 20 short of safety pretty much guarentees the same team each week until the points dry up....

Typical todd...
also, from the sound of things, we need to see the back of graham as quickly as possible!

If that's how it is then I can't understand it tony.

I may have my differences with people on here, but there isn't anybody I've met in real life who I haven't shook hands with, had a chat and bought a drink for if the situation allowed.

You met me T, aren't I "normal"?;)

Im sure the TT were quiet that day because no one could get a word in edge ways with you being the "life of the party" & all, loudest man in the bar that day if i remember correctly, weren't you T?

So what exactly were you expecting when you came to the TT?

Confrontation?......Abuse?......Slanging match?

As far as I know, everyone who visits the TT from here are treated in a friendly & welcoming manner, despite any differences they may have on here!

Im Ok with EVERYONE i've met off here & other MBs, but once i meet someone personally then subsequent insults or threats become "personal" & i dont take kindly to such behaviour as im sure most other people wouldnt!

If i remember, the day you came to the BB it was the TBs game & the BB was more busy than usual, this made conversation across the table hard if not near on impossible!.... Also the fact that you had your young son with you limited the choice of subject & colour of language that people may have used if children weren't present, i dont swear infront of my own children so wouldn't in front of others peoples children!

Others from here have visited the TT, Basel, Youngbill to name a few but only YOU seem to have a problem:(

So again T, just what did you expect?

I told him you were all "Special people" on a day out and he thought that was about right lol..

You are the top table, the clique, the loud mouths, the ones who must be obeyed lol...

So when i knew i was defo coming to meet the "gang" i thought this should be a right laugh....

If a new lad comes or newly married bloke moves on our estate he gets an invite either on the piss or round to someones house and he is then introduced and made welcome TO THE LADS....

We wouldn't sit there with blank expressions on our faces and make him feel uncomfortable.....

I expected people to be normal and have a crack....But in truth they were more like Adie was at Yeovil....

Nowt wrong with that and each to their own..Harder to think on ones feet lol..I said the same after the game Parrot on here...
