"Nathan Doyle has played his last game for Bradford City.

The talented teenage defender was ready to extend his loan spell with the club for the rest of the season.

But that has gone out of the window after he was stretchered off near the end of the Boxing Day defeat at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Doyle collapsed with a knee ligament injury which could sideline him for up to three months, scuppering City's plans to borrow him from Derby County any longer."

I'm absolutely gutted! He's arguably been our best player this season. I wish him all the best. He's one for the future. tup:

I knew when he went down it was bad, poor sod. Maybe we'll pick him up at the end of the season on a free.

Totally agree JS. Maturity beyond his years and player of the season whilst supposedly playing out of position.

Hope for his sake that he makes a full recovery from his injuries. I also hope Derby go up and decide to release him. Sadly I can see better clubs than ours taking him tdwn:

So is that 6 of 8 loan players used up? I wonder if we'l manage to stay up this season? Many have said too good to go down, can't say I'm remotely convinced.
