Has anyone spotted this on the OMB ?

And before you start NO IM NOT HAVING A GO !! I want to know why one has to be a trust member to get the discount !!

What about those of us who are not members ? Perhaps members of Shipley and Shelf Bantams and IDL can get it as well !

We Spend money in there just like all the BCST Members every year getting Shirts, and other Bradford city wear! We Deserve it!

The BCISC included ALL supporters clubs....the trust can't see past their arse or the media

The BCISC did not include all supporters clubs it was an organisation with its own members.

The discount as I see it is a benefit of being a member of the Trust. Why not join for a fiver and make your money back in discounts on stuff you buy in the shop, eh?

Don't make out that this is a situation that is designed to exclude people, it is to benefit the members. If the BCISC could have negotiated this I'm sure they wouldn't have been slated despite the fact the same rules would have applied, ie you would have to have been a member of BCISC.

That was my point, like I said I was not having a go, what I thought was that all supporters groups could get discount, in fact not only them but all season ticket holders maybe.

Perhaps Colin, Steve and Stu can put the suggestion forward then. Not sure the season ticket holder idea would be accepted as you already get a discount on the price of your tickets, the Club I am sure would not want to do a double discount. I might not be so defensive had someone said "well done the Trust for getting its members an added benefit of membership".

Fair enough, just seems everytime the word Trust is mentioned on here it gets jumped on from a great height.

I take it none of the trust members are season ticket holders then therefore not benefiting from a "double discount".

It would have seen a more worthwhile exercise instead of using tactics to boost their own ranks then to try and get the discount for all ST holders therefore showing they are working for ALL fans of the club.

The ST holders at the end of the day pay their money upfront.


p.s. I've never been a member of the trust or BCISC.

The season tickets holders pay their money upfront (or in monthly instalments)
The pay as you go fans pay higher prices per ticket
The Trust members get a discount on certain goods in the shop (not replica shirts ?)

Sounds okay to me.

I've rejoined the Trust :-)

I would have still been on the BCISC committee had the plug not been pulled because of apathy and politics amongst the supporters groups.
