It looks very week -- its going to be a struggle --
Maybe a good manager could motivate the team -- plus the use of good tactics, there may be a chance --
But with --
Management staff
Colin Todd
Bobby Davidson

It will be a heck of a struggle

Looking at the squad as it is it is not as bad as poeple would have us believe.
Ok we're a bit screwed if Deano is out long term but apart from that there are dozens of options to play with. Something the manager should be trying on the training ground. Plan B, C, D, and E.

5-3-2
3-5-2
Both viable options if EJ or Brown can find some form down the back of their sofas. Both options reduce the stress on the full backs.

4-5-1
Playing one up front with one middy playing off him is an option that could be worked on.

However my personal favourite is plan E... not one you'll see from many teams...
3-6-1
This means 3 center backs, two holding/defensive midfielders covering for the wingers and protecting the middle of the park. 2 wingers obviously as well as two players playing behind Windass and pushing forwards.

Example:

- - - - - - - - - Ricketts - - - - - - - - -
- - - - Ainge - Wethers - Bowser - - - -
- - - - - Bentham - - - Schumi - - - - -
JJ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Colbeck
- - - - - Penford - - - - BMW - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - Windass - - - - - - - - -

Rather an insane formation I give you that but it does mean we could switch things around relatively easy and have options with the players we have. The squad is midfield heavy so taking full advantage of that.
Clarke would cover for defence, Muirhead covering for the wingers, Edhhill, Swift and O'Brien to provide a more defensive option for the sides meaning Schumi could push forward. The option to switch quickly to 3-5-1 with EJ on for Penford, etc etc etc etc.
A work of genius. Works for me perfectly on Pro Evolution Soccer too!!!!!!

However we could just stick with 442

Didn't realise he had as many as 10 scriptures.
