Owls striker set to return after loan spell
By Paul Thompson
DAVID Graham is set to return to Hillsborough next week - with Bradford City almost certainly deciding against pursuing a full transfer or extending his loan after his five-month stay there.
The striker was set to play his final game for the Bantams against Cheltenham at Valley Parade this afternoon.
He has scored only three goals in 23 appearances for the League One outfit.
Owls boss Brian Laws will make his own assessment of the £250,000 forward. "I think David is coming back; Bradford haven't indicated anything else," he said.
"When he gets back here, he'll be like everybody else; he'll have a point to prove and will have a chance to show me what he's all about.
"The David Graham that I remember was a good player. That's in the past; I have to look at him now. It will be important to him; it's a fresh start."

Pity he never performed for City. I remember 'Udds fans being jealous that he had signed for City.

Is it true that he ended his city career with a 2 fingured salute to the fans? The **** ****!

Yeah when we were losing, defender was letting the ball run out for a goal kick and he was trying to get it, it went out and he just turned round, instead of grabbing the ball and giving it to the keeper, think someone must have shouted summot he gave the salute and everyone chanted **** Off Graham, **** off graham lol good way to end his stay always go out on a high.

Yep, I saw his finger up at the Kop, another to add to the list of unsuccessful forrads at City. It was amusing to read in this mornings press, that Todd thought City fans were booing Graham's substitution, when in fact the fans were booing Graham.

Anyway who can we have as the hated figure now? EJ perhaps?
Or mabe young Bentham, perhaps we can totally wreck the lads confidence before he has barely got started.
