Cheltenham knocked the ball around and looked more assured than youd think for a team in their position. We looked sluggish never seeming to get the second ball or pass to a team mate. but never mind a lovely cross from BW ( one of many today) was bundled into the net. Yep we will take that.

Second half penalty to them, correctly given as Wethers barged their attacker to the ground. Second yellow deserved so he had to go. Cheltenham now knocking the ball around confidently and a well work second is in the net and we look dead and buried.

Todd, shock, changes it by bringing Graham off, he'd done feck all day so no choice, brought on Colbeck and put JJ in the middle. Now at last we were winning some of the long high balls that Todd favours. Windass knocks on a ball to JJ who sprints past the last man and places the ball in the net. Two all and game over.

Opinions on match, their two strikers were first class, we looked like the team in deep trouble. Windass got booked by the ref for gobbing off. The ref was giving every 50:50 to them. The boo boys started from the Kop and had a little support from the Ciba. All in all we were lucky.

Man of the match Bentham was deserved, BW put some lovely crosses in which may of got us more goals but this team is now playing with no game plan and no real playmaker.

Wish I had stayed at home. ps not as bad as the Donny game but Chetenham are after all second bottom and lost their last 5 away games. TO:

As unbiased as a fan can make it.:p

Thats a fair reflection of the game Wykie. Felt a bit for Deano though, the Ref gave him nothing all afternoon & neither did Graham by way of help. Wethers looked very out of sorts and slow for the 2nd game running. Time for a rest i think for the skipper.

Blame some guys on a MB, blame the chairman & the board, blame the people in the BB, but ffs.........DONT EVER BLAME THE MANAGER.... He gets paid to stand in the dugout everygame & is imune from any fault whatsover!;)

Sounds a good gig, a job where your not responsible for the performances of the people your in charge of, anyone know where we apply for these positions?tup:

apply to Forrest Gump at VP, ask for a long lucrative contract and there ya go!

A good reflection of the match Wykie and pretty much with how we felt - the 1st half was tedious beyond belief - and some still say we are in no danger of relegation - 7 points from 4th bottom now and difficult matches coming up, oh and the play offs now 10 points off target :-(
