Fookin hell - just what we need prior to the derby this Sat.....
If we can't get McGod then he'd certainly be a very good candidate IMO!!...

He may be a decent manager but he has trouble with personalities and can't take critisism(where have we seen that recently)... he has major fall outs with players and is unforgiving and he loves to take the plaudits when things go right but quickly shifts the blame when things go tits up....
....assistant to McCall at best.

Thats a pretty decent character summary TC, sums him up for me!!

This is all assuming we STAY up. There isnt a prayer that McCall is coming back if we dont.
Let's achieve avoiding the drop before stirring management speculation into the mix.
Saturday's game is going to be a test of sheer character by all players involved.
The strongest minds will prevail and without a balance of experience and flair, I could see us losing it.
Wetherall's talk before the game and the reaction to it is vital!

Should we go down, McCall (if there was a chance he was coming) wouldn't take the job surely?....
Jackson got T'udders promoted from League 2 at the 1st attempt with no resources, therefore would IMO be an excellent acquisition should we go down and McCall not be interested....

He put all his eggs in one basket and that basket broke.
We were chasing Beckett but he chose Huddes he has been nothing but a failiure this season, a bit like when McGinley signed for us.
McGinley's failure cost Kammy his job and it seems Beckett has cost Jacko his.

Let's not just switch the attention at the drop of a hat eh? I still hold out for McGod.
How quickly people forget how much they loathed Jackson for his comments about City.

Depends how long you have supported City to what you think of him.
A lot of the older fans will remember Jacko for his time at City where as some of the newer fans only remember Jacko the Town manager.
Jacko was at the Fire Memorial last May when many others were not.

I agree Rick, I am old enough to remember him being skipper of the side on one of our greatest and worst days ever. I am old enough to remember him being at as many hospital wards and then later funerals as he could be. I am clever enough to know that the guy still has an affinity with us and I'm not fickle enough to view him as someone with "a packet of sweets and a cheeky little smile etc".
However, there were quite a few who didn't want him back at City because they view him as being a Terrier and they think he hates us.

How do you work that out???
The guy has played in 22 games starting 9 as a sub and scored 10 goals in League One...
Hardly shite in my opinion..
Windass played in and started 25 and only scored 11 yet he is some kind of Messiah ffs..
I definately do no get you point there mate.
