TFT look to consolidating their promotion position as they head into a game that isn't that easy to read. Royders have beaten Eccleshill Hasbeens who in turn thrashed TFT in one of the only games they have lost. A clash with the C&B kick-off could see a difficult choice for the loyal Goals hardcore as to whether it's the Maracana or the Estadia Azteca.

Don't say I don't give you value!

What? We're playing at the same time. And how come my agent hasn't been contacted, I was first on the transfer list back in early January.

Apparently the loan deal involves a Windass type transfer fee of a diet coke for JS's agent - Edwin.....
The hush hush deal will be revealed on Thursday when the mystery player is unveiled for TFT....

Meltdown at C&B FC

6 Mar 2007

Rumours of a massive bust up between C&B FC manager Jantje Simoen and his players after the 6-4 defeat against Rawdon Softies have surfaced.

Simoen reportedly told the players that most of their star names would be ditched before the next game and specifically told Superfatbantam that he was not good enough and would have to go.

TFT want Piggy P for Half a Carlsberg

01 Mar 2007

Rumours are circulating about a half pint bid by TFT for C&B FC player Piggy Paul.

However, both TFT and C&B FC are denying there's anything in it.

Jantje Simoen commented :

"We just wouldn't take anything like that offer. He's worth a lot more than that...He's an integral part of the team."

It's amazing how quick a story breaks!

Further to the injury news, it has been confirmed by The Football Team player/boss 1911 that it appears as though his reign will shortly be coming to an end.

After hearing the news that he has ruptured his Cruciate Ligament in his left knee and will most likely now require surgery, 1911 has decided to take one for the team and play on until he can no longer walk. As he has been playing on throughout the injury he has decided to do so until surgery whereby he will be out of football for at least a year.

1911's thoughts are to retire and hand the managerial mantle to someone who can come in a being new ideas to the team who are still hoping to playing division 2 football next season.

Will it all go wrong for the Football Team now?

That's a shitter, Si. By the way have you noticed my scoring record. I could easily slip into your shooting boots when the time comes, just give my agent the nod! ;)
