Match Fixing,
Death of Police Man,
Officials injured,
Officials bribed,
Games behind closed doors,
Games Abandoned,
Tonights mass brawl.

What does Italian football have to do before it is punished acordingly?

A few seasons ago Roma's fans injured a referee and held the game up by 30 minutes and all they were given was 3 games behind closed doors.
Inter Milan got a game Abandoned because they were losing and they were only given 3 games behind closed doors.
Milan are found guilty of match fixing yet are still allowed to play in the Champions League.
We wait to see what will come from tonights mass brawl between Valencia and Inter but no doubt it will be just a slap on the wrist.
Man U & Celtic fans were pelted with missiles whilst at the San Siro.
Fans at one stage were banned from ground this season, now that ban only applies to away supporters.

Why does Italian football get fines and punishment that are nothing more than a slap on the wrist when if it were an English team that had commited any of the above the Book, the Book Shelf and the entire Libary would have been thrown at them?

We only got banned cos of all the deaths at the Hysel stadium...

Every country has these little rucks...Now the players should get big bans especially that cowardly git who blind sided someone and (although it was funny) ran for his life laughing....

The teams involved in the match fixing have been punished, after the copper died all teams were punished...

I do think Inter will get banned for a season or two from the Champs League with Valencia having a few banned for the rest of the comp...

Anything more is daft IMHO...Aresenal Chelsea wasnt far off and it was handbags...

Most folk last night were trying to split thinkgs up...It just looked worse..

Added to the morons calling for police intervention when it is nothing near the pure brawls in Rugby League/Union that happen each week...

Worst case Inter Banned for next season and players club fined.

Valencia players banned and fined for two/three games...

As for the other Italian sides !!!!! Nothing should happen whatsoever...

Dutch, Polish, Turkish football is far worse than any of this and in South American football it is treated as the norm as in Rugger...

:ban: Inter Next season only no one else..:ban:

Fair enough there were deaths at Heysel, but in my opinion it's only a matter of time before something like that happens again.

Turkey to an extent it has already happened and their punishment was to host the Champions League Final within 3 years of it happening.

The dutch are bad too and Rotterdam were kicked straight out of the Uefa Cup where as other teams especially Italian teams which have been as bad were still allowed to continue in the competition.

To allow a team who has been caught red handed at match fixing into Euro footballs top competition is a joke.

I agree, but to ban the rest for their actions last night makes it seem fair that all our teams were banned after Heysel.....

A nations teams should not be punished for the actions of one team. Majority for the minority is the worst and most pointless punishment.

Bigger fines and longer bans for the individual clubs are what is needed and a firm but fair precident set to put off other clubs Europe wide.
