The other night on SKY Beggrie and Claridge were discussing wages – Claradge said the only way to get results was to have a low weekly wage but with lots of incentive additions – i.e. Appearance money, goals scored, win bonus etc – seems a very good idea for players contracts, get some effort back in there from the players – may not work at City though as some players are too sure of appearing and playing every week!
