Rochdale are hopeful of extending the loan deal of Bradford striker Ben Muirhead.

Muirhead has made a big impression at Dale, scoring one goal in four appearances since joining the club a month ago.

Rochdale revealed they have been in contact with Bradford regarding the player who has helped compensate for the loss of Chris Dagnall as the latter continues his recuperation following a broken metatarsal.

A spokesman for Rochdale said: "We are currently trying to extend the loan deal we currently have for Ben Muirhead.

"We have been in contact with Bradford about the possibility of an extension and we are waiting for them to get back to us."

let him leave he is useless he has had more than a fair crack of the whip . Lets hope somebody can train colbeck up properly as he has the potential and is raw but isnt showing enough to earn a regular place in the team
