Two poor teams and the team that created the chances which we contributed to - scored end of..
The city team let the good supporters down this afternoon and ahve got to stop conceding early and other goals.
Central Midfield were not imposing themselves, Edghill created problems - just as much as the the TBs did.
Ben Parker, Younga and Paynter came out with some credit Wethers and Bower steady - the rest have to take alook at themselves,
Edghill - see above
MBW odd glimpses of what he can do - but a poor game
Schuey not in the game two shots that would not have looked out of place in Rugby League
Omar - looked like the derby atmosphere got to him - contributed little
Donovan - slowed the game down too much and let the TBs re group - what happened to the up tempo game - also wht were not players going out wide to receive his throws.
Moses - not an impressive debut but I will excuse him in that it was his first game and midfield were not providing any supply.
The fussy Ref - just spoilt the game by slowing it down just like at VP which suits the TBs style of play.
Our main problem is that we do not look like a team - I suppose this understandable given the number of games they have actually played together.
They have to do some work on this and if possible we need a Ronnie Wallwork in Central Midfield and fast!! Also can we get Doyle back on loan!
Liked the fact Billy Paynter came and clapped the fans and gave his shirt at the end.

The most spineless, gutless performance by a team in a city shirt in a long time.
Not an attempt on goal of note, their goalkeeper might as well have had the day off.
Today seems to suggest we are going down as I can pick no possitives from that performance.

Well said, sir, he is a total waste of space.
I wouldn't have thought it possible, but we were actually worse today than we were last week.
Very few players came out of today with any credit, and what happened to the "upping the tempo"that Wethers was on about?

Second that, absolutely dire, one of the worst performances i've seen (and i've seen a few bad ones) I hate to say it but i think we're as good as down on todays performance.

Slowly I'm starting to settle in to the expectation of relegation. I'd love Wetherall to prove me wrong, but recent results have been dire, with little to say that things will substantially improve.
We have 10 games left, and I think we need at least 12 points. We aren't playing well enough to win 4 games out of the 10 that are left.
There is always hope until it is mathematically impossible, but it is starting to look like too big an ask.

It's not just 4 wins it's got to be wins against Chesterfield and Bournemouth, losing to both those would make it more than 4 wins.
I fear relegation will be all done and dusted by the time we kick off against Chesterfield.

We started with 9 men on the pitch asEdgehill was playing for the TBs,every pass went to them. Then we have Omar and im sure its Omar the porn star, because he aint a footballer.
At the end of the game we had 3 1/2 players on the pitch and they were Bower,ParkerPayntor and the 1/2 goes to Bridgey.
To sum up the performance gutless, heartless pieces of utter shite and thats been nice.

Its strange reading folks take on the game -- MBW gets different reports -- the rest are very much the same

Too many changes for me in an already fragile team.
I would have left the new front man on the bench and started with Eddie Johnson. He would have given some committment which may have made room for Paynter.
Colbeck is far more effective than Daley and should have been on from the off.
Parker, left back. AN other at right back.
We will lose against Bristol. Our only hope now is Northampton. However the body language of the players suggests that they have given up.
Only a change of manager now can hope to bring about change - there are still no guarantees though.

That f*ckin moses c*nt can get f*cked aswel lazy f*ckin b*stard. Disgrace of an excuse of a footballer, on his debut, no commitment, effort, heart, always offside, absolute sh*te. Left paynter on his own all game.

on the performances of late its more like a HUGE ask...
the thing is, whether you feel we would ever get the 10,000 pledges JR is looking for or not - the thinking behind it was to get more people behind the team....
the fans did that yesterday, got behind the team, and in force.. but the team didnt perform - if they cant get themselves up for a game like that in front of all those travelling fans then I cant honestly see what difference it will make at home ! or am I missing something ??

I can't see how anyone could have that Youga had a good game! Yeah he won a most headers but his positioning was awful, he never seemed to be goal side! Only Bower, Wethers, Parker and Paynter deserve any credit for yesterday!

i feel sorry for Wethers. this is just the wrong time for him. Richie or Jackson need to be brought in now. we seem to be gambling on not bringing an expereinced manager in on the offchance Stu might want to come in the summer. I can see why this is happening, but i think it's too big a risk if we want to stay up.

Welcome to C&B Geoff
JR is the one in the know -- lets hope he is going to sort it sooner rather than later -- Wethers has been pushed in -- he had no time to plan or think -- hopefully it will be at least a step up the managerial ladder for him

Having listening to the game on the radio, I have never heard John Hendrie be so dissappointed in a Bradford Performance and particularly he singled MBW for plenty of stick, spineless, gutlass, etc...........
It is great to see/hear ex players who still have a place in there heart for the club, but even he could not believe the lacklustre and passionless performance put on today by all the players
Even said we look like a team that has given up and are facing up to the prospect of Div 2 footbal next year
I feel sorry for the fans how made the effort to get behind the team

How can you expect a team full of loan-ins to give a **** about some tinpot local derby? How can you expect them to care if we go up or down? How many of City's actual contracted players do you think care?
I don't mean to take it out on the players so harshly. How are they expected to build any team spirit when there's players in and out all season? This club is ****ed. :(

I agree with what you say mate - but the best player on the pitch by a country mile was Paynter the loanee, his work rate was fantastic, something which the City fans appreciated - he was the only fekker who was clapped off the pitch!!!
Its about pride - the right type of loan player can have more to play for than his contracted counterpart quite often - trying to get back into his teams plans, trying to earn a new deal etc.....

City fans always so quick to judge - seems the useless bag of **** piped up with a goal!
Shows you cant judge someone on 90 mins!
