Who's available to play this week?

We are playing a new team who have replaced Allerton and are called the City Gents. I have visions of a socialist poet in goal and an 8 foot striker up front!

I was talking to the lads from the Ring o Bells on Friday & they aren't happy that this lot have been allowed in with the season three quarters over. If they are world beaters they could change the whole dynamic of the division top & bottom. Just about everyone was counting on 3 or 6 points from the Allerton game but this could all change now

1.11Teams may be replaced at any stage of the season. Replacement teams inherit the scores and points of their predecessors. No team joining after the halfway point can be awarded first or second place at the end of the season.

Nothing about relegation though. As far as Goals are concerned they will want to fulfil the fixture list to get the money they should get if everybody turns up every week. Ring O'Bells will be ok, it's us that want to be concerned, cos to be honest Allerton were a dead cert to go down. If this new team are any good they might win all their remaining games including against us and avoid relegation sending us down, which probably wouldn't have happened if Allerton stayed in and Hardly Athletic didn't rope any ringers in!

Look at the table. City Gents have to play us, then BD2 Let's Have A Do, then Ring O'Bells, then Rawdon Soft. The RO'B boys needn't worry as this set of ringers in the Gents have to play all the teams who are promotion challengers with them. Unless of course they are talking about it affecting their championship prospects as they think they might finish top of the league!

Wrong, JD, the newbies have to play RO'Bs, Soft and BD2. All vying for promotion and therefore we have a chance the newbies will be dead and buried before they have started! Still, we need to beat them to be certain of our future!

First and foremost though Adie we have to give the usual players a chance if they are available. If we are struggling I reckon Menace an WATP would help out.

Paul is playing and he's asking his mate JJ if he can play too. If we have at least 6 then we should tell Menace or watp to play for TFT this Thursday as I think they only have 4 players this week! And that includes a ringer keeper! :D :rolleyes:
