Anyone here get his shirt?

Absolutely class gesture from the man - He was the only guy on the field that battled his heart out - He looks to have a good touch, strength and a decent brain on him - great player!

I felt we were far too one dimentional, resorting to the long ball time and time again.

I know confidence is low, but playing long balls up front, which more often than not went to ashikodi and not Paynter (which is pointless) is not gonna get us out of this mess! Seems a big forrud as everyone so reveres in these parts isnt enough to save our bacon.

We need to get the ball into the channels and the corners, the kind of thing we were doing at the start of the season. Afraid Omar Daley isnt going to make it at this level, doesnt have the required awareness.

Cant see how people can slag Ashikodi off after that perormance though - he had 1 opportunity all match and was getting the wrong type of service for his game. If the man's pace IS his key attribute then wanging long balls up to his head isnt gonna do us much good. I reckon he may score quite a few before the season's out maybe 4 or 5.

I also felt we should have resorted to 433 much sooner on saturday!
