I hope this signals a return to standing...it CAN be done safely, maybe somebody will finally realise that

Wouldnt it be great if we could stand again? I used to love standing on the KOP......Best ever was when they were knocking it down and there was no roof, it absoultely pissed it down so they gave us all plastic ponchos....whats your best memories of standing and do you think it can be done safely?

Fans talk to each other more when standing... it's hard to have a chat with a mate or fellow Bantam when they are five or six seats away... during the last 4/5 seasons beer, standing would have been preferable.

I remember that, always used to attribute the fact that Rankin could never score at the Kop End, the guys in the ponchos looked like a Klu Klux Klan Konvention that, and the fact that he was crap.

Rankin was mint!
Anyway, standing can be done, I like the example of 'German' football. Hopefully, this article is step in the right direction. Hillsborough wasn't purely the fault of terraces.
