Half time today saw many disguntled fans waiting for their pre-paid orders whilst the harrassed bar stafff served others with money - it boiled over a bit with one dude coming out with a nasty mouthful to one of the staff who happened to be of darker skin.
All down to short staffed and no one guarding the half time orders - my Guinness nearly went walkies until i removed it from someone's paw.
The dude was escorted out by 2 orange jackets still clutching his pint and was seen outside swigging his beer and chatting to them.
Woe betide anyone for putting their feet up on a spare seat or standing up during the game and the above??????????????????

If he unleashed a racist tirade at one of the staff i hope the guy gets a lengthy ban...
I am only surprised that more haven't complained about the Orange Jacket brigade's over the top treatment of the guy...
Two of em turfing out 1 guy who was only shouting...How very dare they...

I was at the bar when it happened. Somebody called the barman a black *******. To be fair to the rest of the staff they did really well.....didn't make a fuss. Just called for some stewards and got the twat chucked out. The black lad behind the bar carried on serving and didn't make any fuss either. Nobody should have to suffer that at work. I hope the club adhere to their kick racism out of football line and ban this twat for the rest of the season at least.

"I was at the bar when it happened. Somebody called the barman a black *******.'
Close but no cigar JD.
Right, first things first, imo the bloke in question was initially right to have a pop. Anyone pre-ordering and paying for halftime drinks has every right to feel aggrieved if they're not ready. Especially if they're still waiting five minutes after the HT whistle. But, what said bloke ended up doing was totally out of order. With kids about the initial four letter outburst was bad enough, but singling out and calling the black dude behind the bar an, 'African c**t' was way, way out of order, and imo he thoroughly deserved the abuse he received from disgusted fellow Bantam Barers and subsequent expulsion from the ground.

Well as long as he got chucked out then whatever. I was just pleased they chucked him out.

I happened to be at the bar at the time and several other people who heard the comment let the person know who made it what they thought.
I don't know if they were thrown out but a statement was being taken from them before the second half.
No matter what the service was like there is no room for comments like that.

I for another was at the bar area when it happened, didnt hear the comments but the fans around certainly made there point known.
Yes the bar staff handled it well and the stewards politely moved the colprite out of the bar area, but as someone else noticed
He was still carrying a full pint in his hand, swigging it as he was patrolled out.
**note to Stewards** - More care most be taken when removing suspect bother causers - I.E. take glass out of hand, you never know what kind of idiot you are dealing with.
