Anyone see the Spurs fan attacking Lampard

After tonights game.

Missed it the first time but thanks to the joys of Sky+ you could rewind it and see him run unchallenged for about 20 meters before Lampard just saw him in the corner of his eye and ducked as he swang a punch.

He was then pinned down by about 4 Chelsea players and staff before the Stewards came in and karted him away. There also seemed to be a second people who invaded the pitch too.

It's a shame when you see things like that happening.

No doubt it will be on Youtube very soon.

Just seen it on the highlights, what a loon. Lampard did well to duck the punch!
Nothing that the stewards can do to stop it though is there really? Since Hillsbourgh, there are no bars at the front to stop people getting on the pitch and it's impossible to patrol the full perimeter of the pitch.
I bet that lad gets sent down to make an example.

He ran from the end of the pitch which the Chelsea fans were at but he was from the Spurs end.

Ha ha yeah he was funny, another one fell over when trying to escort him off the pitch. It was funny tho watching the chelsea players sticking sly boots into him while he was pinned down.

Nobody was hurt which is good. Was funny though, Lampard just stood still watching the fella running towards him. Bruce Lee reactions from Lamps, would've been funny if he'd connected. Wonder what would've happened.

If your going to run onto a pitch and attack a player at least make sure you can throw a decent punch seen as your going to spend a fair amount behind bars! That punch was a pathetic attempt!

I didn't say anything to suggest that we should have fences or all that bollocks. I merely stated that, given the punishment for encroaching on the field of a play is a ban, both should have been banned, not just the Tottenham fan who threw an Audley Harrison punch at a player.
