... have drawn yet another game.
England 0-0 Isreal.
Should McLaren keep his job?
Do Gerrard and lampard work?
Will we ever find a good striker combo?

Will we qualify?

No sack him and employ O'Neil ..
Sorry he is doing worse than even McClaren did in the Prem...
1 Goal in 5 games is shocking...
Right midfielder playing on the left with the side now having no width ...
No one on the right...
Then his first sub is a defender swap....
Then he takes off one of the countries top right midfielders who has spent the game on the left for a left midfielder. This still leaving us with no width on the right...
The guy is a first class tool...
Finally he brings on defoe who had more chances in his short time on the pitch than both Rooney and Johnson....
No wonder some of the players look like they dont give a fook....

Lennon can play on either wing and has done for Tottenham throughout the season.... he caused plenty of problems in the first half.
But like you say the right wing was the problem and Lennon should have been played there instead meaning we could have played a left winger also. Having Gerrard stuck out on the right, who still had a reasonably good game, is ridiculous. He should be in the middle. If a central midfielder is to be sacrificed it HAS to be Lampard. While Lamps is a good player if one has to be selected between him and Gerrard theres no competition. It's not just about selecting your best eleven players ffs its about selecting the players who are going to gel and play the best as a TEAM.

Spot on Tony -- McClaren's a first-class tool.
It was totally pointless putting Lennon on the left when he's a naturally right-footed player -- how many times did he have to stop and pull the ball back so that he could cross it with his right foot!? Gerrard was wasted on the right. I'd much rather have seen Lennon on the right, Gerrard and Hargreaves in the middle, and hell, even Etherington on the left! Stick Lampard on the bench (still not a bad option to have sitting on the bench!).
I'm frustrated, and I can't believe McClaren is such a knob.

Strange how on MOTD Gerards biggest fan Hansen slated the input of Rooney and Gerard whilst not having a bad word yet again for the "box to box" Lampard...

I have to thank England and McClaren for showing me that there is a team out there who are worse to watch than City.
Yesterdays game was dire and there was no drive or pace in any of Englands play. We really have mastered the art of playing it across the back four but that is all.
