United have lost to Pompey! Oh my God! End of the World is nigh! Repent! Repent!

On a serious note, this narrows the gap at the top. Who reckons Chelsea will just sneak it at the end, kind of like their matches roflmao: I'm too funny

I reckon it will hinge on when the two meet, which Utd will win:jd:

Due to Man Utds goal average and the amount of games left the gap realistically is four points still ...

I reckon Chelsea will lose the title on Goal difference...

Chelsea have had a lot of bad luck this season and to be only 3 points back isnt bad at all and as a glory scouse fan i want man utd to fail miserably

Chelsea to win it

Question is...Was it due to them playing second knowing they had to win???

Chelsea in the last few games have always seemed to have to do this and have ground out results...

The first time it was a factor for United they failed....Pressure is a wonderful thing that not many can handle if they are not used to it...

Yeh but Ferguson's been there before so he knows how to cope with it himself and how to project that to the players. Pressure won't play a massive part, I see United's quality that they've shown all season to pull them through

How long is it since they have been in a position like this though???

2002/03 season to be exact....

A side that still had Barthez, Veron, Keane, Beckham, Phil Neville, Forlan and Van Nistleroy in it..

This side hasn't realistically been in this position or large chunks of it haven't..

Van der Sar, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Brown, Heinze, Fletcher (Solskjaer 59), Scholes, Carrick (Smith 77), Richardson (Giggs 46), Rooney, Ronaldo.
Subs Not Used: Kuszczak, Evra.

Only first team regular survivors are in Orange...

Pressure will come into it i reckon...
