Charlton and West Ham both look like staying up.
Sheff Utd look like they could get dragged in, but Wigan could well be off down, like us they dont look like winning a game.

Only chelsea have really bought the titles the others have brought through a lot of good players from the youth systems, the other 3 teams have spent money they have generated, unlike chelsea who waited for a sugar daddy im not a fan of chelsea but i am a fan of mourinho and if liverpool dont ever win title i want mourinho to

Did they????
Rooney cost a mint???? Not forgetting Ferdinand, Juan Veron and Ruud van Nistelrooy cost a total of nearly £80m,
Year after year when the transfers were not as mental Man Ure brought in the best players by paying that little extra....
In the days Liverpool dominated they did the same...
Chelsea had a far worse initial set up then all the other big three and had to buy to be a threat....
Going back to Fulham though which was you initial post...What is wrong with spending cash to get you into the Prem???
The players he brought in still had to win promotion and for a couple of seasons a few of the ones from our division were still playing so money well spent...
You will have to explain better your reasoning mate as if Fayed came here and bought our way to the Prem i very much doubt you would be crying about it...
It isn't how much you spend it is who you spend it on...
Beamoaning Fulham one of the smallest clubs in the Prem their position in the top flight is one of the most ludicrous things ever...
Without Dave Whelan Jewell would not of become a Prem manager again...

jewell would have become a prem manager as he is a quality manager and i dont begrudge anybody a place in the prem but fulham did it unfairly as far as im concerned the players they got whilst in bottom 2 divs was a disgraceful way to stop the opposition they might as well have just given the prem League a huge cash settlement to go straight in

WTF are you on about...So you think Fayed should have brought in only players who gave the other teams a chance then....
FPMSFL mate.....The fact he employed the right managers and gave them the cash to buy the right players shows what a dream Chairman he was...
Once again...Are you really telling me that if a simmilar guy walked in and swept City off it's feet and brought in pure quality from the higher leagues which saw us getting promoted you would be on here slagging the fella and the team off as it "was a disgraceful way to stop the opposition they might as well have just given the prem League a huge cash settlement to go straight in"
I wonder how many more folk share your same view on the world of football...

Nope i post alot less than most on here most days the total was done ages ago and is now getting closed up by others...
As for being a pain i do not know what you mean...
All i am trying to do is to get you to explain why a club is hated by yourself for no other reason than it was run properly by it's rich new chairman and managed correctly on the pitch via top signing by its various managers to give a club the momentum to hit the top league...
I would say every clubs dream you say they near enough spoilt the leagues theywere in by winning them due to the top draw business fayed ensured he was running...
If that makes me a pain then fine...You still have just written some off the cuff remark you now are trying to spin into me being the bad guy...:jd:

in the end of the day football is about making money. ok fulham bought heavily but there are still no guarantees that success will definitly follow. i think a lot of other people may have been pissed off because of envy. i mean, is what fulham did any different to what's happening with the big four in the prem?

I have an affection for Fulham as they are a team of tradition who live next door to a huge club like chelsea. Did Wigan, West Ham, Reading, B'ham, WBA etc. not buy their way into the prem? What are Blackpool and Peterborough doing lower down the pyramid?
Your going to end up hating more than half the teams in the fl if you take that view.
To get in the prem you need to have a good manager, financial backing and some transfer nouse. Hence why Derby County, Birmingham City and Sunderland are top of the championship. They have all bought the right mix of players suitable for getting a club out of the 2nd tier.
People who talk about where a club "belongs" in the fl or how a club has bought success and dont deserve it really irritate me.
People say Charlton, Watford, Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Reading, Middlesborough, Fulham are not "Premiership teams"
and
L##ds, Wolves, WBA, Birmingham, Derby, Notts Forrest, Palace, Sunderland, Southampton, Sheff Wed. all are and have a divine right to be in the premiership...
I disagree think no club has the right to be in any division and is in their current division on the back of their own merits....

Sheff Utd and Wigan - they look unable to raise their game again.
As for Fulham - their record suggests they are in the Prem on merit - always have decent home form which is enough to keep them out of trouble, we culd have been another like them but that's another story about greed, obsession and not realising the main assets.

I personally would not swap a minute of it though Wisey.
I know we are now paying for it and will continue to do for some time yet but history is history and the past is the past.
