View Full Version : When did you feel like walking out?

After the second goal I almost got up and left but I stayed to the very end and was one of only about 3,000 to do so.

What made me laugh was the idiots singing we'll support you ever more when most have only just come to todays game because of the significance it had on our season.

We want 10,000 there next season yet when 10,000 turned up today we were treated to a complete pile of rubbish.

I'll be at Chesterfield next week to see us both relegated, boy the atmosphere after that game will be fun.

Just wait for Julian to announce David Wetherall as our manager for next season, boy I can't wait. To be fair to him he's no manager, maybe in a few years when like McCall he has been a number two but we are now one step from the conference and to be honest I can see us fighting off relegation next season more than I can see us fighting for promotion.

I hope Kelly is OK as he's the only one who can play football, Arther Daley can piss off as he is a joke as for Edgehill don't get me started.

The only thing Muirhead has done since he has been recalled is draw todays half time draw. What a waste of a wage, we should have just left him at Rochdale it's as if we have money to burn FFS.

Exactly Mall. They should have been going all out to win this match. They were at home FFS. You obviously wouldn't think so.

I left my seat but not the stadium after the second goal, i watched the remainder of the match from the top of the stairwell. I have only once left a ground this season before full time and that was at Oldham after the second goal but the cold temperature added to my decision. Yesterday as always I stayed and clapped the team.

i left when it was clear we had given up and we'rent gonna score. so 7 minutes after their 2nd, the lack of fight was a discrace, they just rolled over and let the o's stroll it.

To compound it i just missed my bus, mis read the bus timetable - turned out the one i missed was the last bus, had to leg it to the interchange get on a train then walk home from frigging pudsey - 2 hours to get home ffs.

I clapped them at halftime because they deserved clapping, at full time no way was I going to clap that shower off the pitch.

Same here, i was expecting them to come out as if Churchill or Lord Nelson had been in the dressing room fireing them up with a speech but it was a total damp squib and once Orient scored, EJ & Kelly apart, the team gave up

Shambles and Wethers yet again screwed up with his lack of substitutions or should i say the players named on the bench. If Rhodes actually thinks Wethers has what it takes it truly is the end.

I agree but JR is surrounded by the we wouldn't have a club without him gang to keep telling him he's doing a fantastic job.

Wonder if he will bother with Chesterfield next week seeing as he has already said we are down.

I could see them winning at Saltergate Rick!!, then everybody will fall for the same s*it again and turn up for the Millwall game only to be let down at home once again.

I know VP can be a bit quiet at times but yesterday everyone got behind the team until they saw that most of the team knew they were beaten and then the rush for the gates started

We left about 2 minutes after their second goal - got a taxi into town and within 5 minutes of sitting outside Lloyds and starting to drink our pints (the game was still probably going on at this time) we were having a laugh about other things - totally forgetting about the joke of a club and football team less than a mile up the road!!
It took about 5 minutes to get the result and its consequences out of our systems - i think us four at least don't give a fook anymore and i'm not ashamed to say it!!

I take my dad down, and he sits in a different section of the ground to me so we meet up at the end for the drive back, therefore I don't have the option of going early. Having said that, I would stay to the end regardless.

we left with about 10 mins to go - it's easier walking up the hill alone than with another 3,000 depressed souls.

clear we did not have it in us in the 2nd half.

CLEAR OUT....... TOP TO BOTTOM.

I beat the lot of you was out till beyond closing time. I was fooking shitfaced. I have been in some right states but nothing like that for a long time.I pretty much don't remember anything after Lloyds Bar.

I never really thought about it at the time, but when we were sitting outside Lloyds in the Sunshine, King Billy was spot on, we never discussed the game or gave it a second thought. We'd just been practically relegated and wheras before that would have been devestating, we just completely forgot about it. Says it all about the Joke this football club has become.

i wasn't there! i drank heavily though and bored folk about bradford's plight.

amazed, well not really, that ben didn't play. it's bloody awful that we didn't have strikers on bench no matter how poor they may be they are better strikers than defenders. fact is we deserve relegation, table don't lie etc i'd give wethers a chance though i may get shot down for that (i think no manager would have saved us).
