Whats worrying me just as much as our imminent return to division four at the moment is the clubs lack of information on next seasons early bird season ticket offer?

Whatever division we start in next year or whatever becomes of JRs disastrous "Pledge" idea headtap: the club is leaving it VERY late to announce s/t prices and any discounts that the early bird offer entails.

Is there any strategy in place at VP regarding s/t sales for next season, disregarding what division were in?....At the moment it doesn't appear so!

So what does this mean?...What questions does it throw up?

Personally I think that JR will walk away after the final ball off the season as been kicked leaving the Stealing committee to pick up the pieces of the s/t fiasco...the delay in offering discounted s/t could be disastrous as many fans may be saving for their summer holidays or indeed be on holiday if any such offers are made during holiday season!

The Pledge offer is and always was a dead duck, even if 20k Pledge..how many would actually follow through and make the payment, especially for fourth division football if thats the case?

IMO the "Pledge" scheme was exactly that, a scheme or smokescreen to cover JRs exit from the club, leaving the early bird offers in tatters....In other words he couldn't be arsed organising it himself and will leave the mess for others to sort out when he bails out tdwn:

What then?...I presume the Stealing committee will call Mr Gibb and when he tells them to do one, they'll pursue reductions in the tenancy agreements at VP...If this fails then prepare to watch City kick off next season with a home game against Accrington Stanley at Odsal! :(

I'll be there, whatever happens during the summer!!!

I don't care we kick off as long as we do!!!!

I have become concerned about the lack of season ticket sales......if he is going and it is speculation at the moment, then the season ticket price will still have to be realistic depending on what division we are in,.

Plan A, the Pledge, was that crap there is no chance of a Plan B. I suspect that he hasn't a clue as to what to do next and like you say the prices will have to be realistic whatever the division. Unfortunately the idiot has now put the £138 price of a season ticket into peoples minds and it will be a major task now to persuade folk to pay £100 more.

I was informed yesterday that the pledge deal will be made available but there will be a membership price for certain areas of the ground like the Bantams Bar - wonder if they will try and clean the carpet in the summer as well - like summat out of Rab C Nesbitt !!!!!!!!!
