Presuming that we are relegated, who will be going to matches next season, either on match day tickets or season tickets?
I will, couldn't care less about the division. How about you?

Definately be there whenever i can get down. It doesn't matter what league we're in, it's still City. Looking forward to Darlo away already (though typically i would put money on the fixture being the back end of August when i'm away on holiday).

I started watching City in division 4 (old money) and weve gone full cycle - the years of "Bantam progressivism" are over now - sad really - 23 years of being on the up all gone!!...:( I remember when the City Gent fanzine first came out - originally as a newsletter for the CTC73 travel club, and i also remember after our promotion to the 3rd division (old money) when they coined the phrase "The voice of bantam progressivism" - i never thought it'd last, certainly not into the top flight - seems quite apt that the longest running football fanzine is still around to see us back down to that level!!
I'll be there, although i'll be doing what i did this season and picking and choosing - i've had season tickets for about 15 years prior to this season, and i have to admit to preferring to pick and choose my games!!
City don't play nowhere near as big a place in my life as they used to - and i feel much happier because of it, if it weren't for the company on matchday and the friends i've made at City i probably wouldn't have even gone this season.....gone are the days where i used to get that buzz and anticipation on matchday - altho a decent promotion run and my lad getting older and no doubt wanting to go himself in a few years may change all that.....

If City are relegated as seems pretty certain now I will be buying a season Ticket for the Bantams Bar. Like Wrosebantam and Wykie its come full circle for me also as the 4th division is where I started going with my old man in 1972.
I'll have to get back into it sometime soon for when my Son is old enough to go as well so thats just another reason.....he'll be the 4th generation Jackson to grace Valley Parade.

For years & years i never thought i'd ever see City above the bottom 2 levels so despite all the trouble & hassles i'd glad we did achieve something in my lifetime. My Dad never saw City above the old Div 3 (N) level.

This poll is actually quite promising for attendances next season.
Ok, people who post on message boards tend to be the hardcore and it's probably not entirely typical of the crowd at large, but it seems that maybe crowds won't entirely collapse at the prospect of relegation.
Maybe all the gloryseekers left a couple of seasons ago.

What's all this about me babysitting? My mum lives near the ground so she can do it!
I'll be there next season if we go down. This will be the lowest I've seen City if they do go down. I started coming when we were in this division when Stapleton was the manager so a drop to the bottom tier of league football is a bit of a shock for me.
I've no idea how much my ticket will be for next season. Us 25 year lifeblood/real fans/demigods/heroes/all round good eggs were told that season tickets would be 75% of the normal price if we are in the 4th tier....is that still the same or have they changed the goalposts again?

If we weren't in such a dire state on and off the field, sounds crazy but I might be looking forward to next season, doing some of the grounds and possibly watching us win a few for a change.
I did say it sounds crazy.

I started supporting City when they were in the fourth tier of English football so I have no reason to abandon them completely.
I was 11 years old then, full of vigour and enthusiasm regardless of the quality of the football... for years in the Bradford end it was the social aspect that that I loved as much as the team... the singing, the chanting, cheering the odd rare win.
Now, 41 years later, I want to be entertained on a Saturday afternoon... I have a plethora of options at my fingertips... televised football, local cricket, playing golf, country walks.... lots of stuff, BUT!!, I still love Bradford City.http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/images/smilies/love.gif
I will go to VP next season but if I'm not entertained and the club does not show itself to be forward thinking I would have no regrets in turning my back on them.
They say life is too short, and it is... City have had more than half of my life and I've got to consider what I want from the rest of my days and pouring my emotions and cash into a declining football entity is no longer an option.
So I pray we can turn the corner and have the setup and players to make us a force again but the tears have all dried up and I won't be shedding anymore.

Third or 4th division - what difference does it make? It's always against little clubs. No Arsenals, Chelseas, Manures or Liverpools who would always attract more glory-seekers to VP. Outside of the Prem, only a winning team playing entertaining football would significantly increase gates.

Full circle for me, and I suspect quite a few others.
Started watching City in the 4th Division, and my expectations then were to see them in the 3rd, it took a while to do, but we got there in the end, only to more or less come straight back down again!
It' s been a long road from the 4th to the Premiership, and now back again, but I will be there next season, armed with my season ticket, relatively optimistic, because when you think of the alternatives -which we will be getting samples of beginning 12 May to the first game of next season, it just doesn't bear thinking about.
I suppose it's a bit of an understatement to say that I was absolutely gutted on Saturday, I just hope that if the worst does happen(which I think it will, but would be delighted to be proved wrong)there is going to be someone that can come in, bang tables, kick arses, lay down the law in whatever fashion they think fit, kick out all the dead wood, and start completely afresh.
The present regime down at VP,is unwilling, or more to the point unable to do that,JR, who may be a thoroughly decent bloke for all I know, is not the man to do it, I know there are people who say if it wasn't for him there would be no Club, believe me I am grateful for what he did, when he did, but it is glaringly obvious that he is not up to the job - and how long do we go on being grateful - people may say that there is no one willing to come in and take over the reins, but there seems to be something about football clubs that always has a certain attraction, and after 10600 people turned up on Saturday it may have made possible investors sit up and take notice that there is potential there.

At the end of the day its not a money issue as to why i might not buy one, i could afford to buy one and use it as loo paper or not go if i so wished - its the fact that you give the club your money up front and feel compelled to go because you've already paid for it.....i don't really see the advantage from my point of view - the discount it offers is small change and has no bearing on my decision whether to buy one or not, therefore why not pay as and when like i've been doing this season?....
I've put thousands and thousands through the tills of BCFC in my 25 years of watching em mate - i don't see why i should blindly continue to do so!!

I'm gutted for several reasons about our pending relegation to the 4th division (in old money) -- not least cos we'll probably miss out on 4 cracking West Yorkshire derbies -- but I'll still try to get back to the UK to see about as many games as I did when we were in the Premiership (a handful).
