View Full Version : Why are we even talking about staying up?

Everything has been stacked against us staying up so there's no way in a month of sundays that our fortunes are going to have a massive reversal for the last 2 games.

Dodgy refereeing decisions.
Injuries.
Stupid loans.
Overdue sacking.
More dodgy refereeing.
Insanely stupid January sales.
More injuries.
More dodgy refereeing.
Games turning on a sixpence losing us 1,2,3 points.
Turditis still stinking the club out.
Wethers having too little time to rid himself of his own Turditis.
Stupid sensless (albeit harsh) sending off.

I could go on but you get the picture.

Face it guys, we are down. Start getting used to it, we are in Division 4.

They say Luck evens itself out over a season:rolleyes: ....we should be playing against 9 men and have 3 dodgy pens in our remaining two games then:jd:

STAYING UP jump:

They also say you make your own luck.

With hindsight Julie has made enough decisions to justify the run of luck we have endured. Not that I disagree with some of Julie's decisions but the big one or rather the timing of it and the combination of that and the other decisions are ultimately to blame.

I've had enough of long shots and forlorn hopes being dashed time and again. I'm in Division 4 and am just hoping we have a good summer off the field and that we are having a total rethink at the club so that we can start building for the long haul back up the divisions.
I cannot be dissapointed when we get shafted at home to Milwall if I am already a Division 4 supporter.

I said on the OMB some people are going to have relegation hit them hard.

I've got used to the fact we will be in division 4 next season, there was a brief chance to grasp at straws when we beat Brighton but realistically we've been down for weeks.

Face it guys, we are down. Start getting used to it, we are in Division 4.Pretty much my feeling too. If we stay up I will be as chuffed as anyone. If we are in division 4 and still in existance then I will be nearly as happy.

The way I see it, the team has had the abosolute belief and support from me and the majority of other fans at least twice in the past month or so and totally squandered it. They can't be arsed; why should I?

I doubt we will stay up. I will listen to the matches with a vague interest but I won't be disappointed when we lose them because I'm spent. They've had as much emotion from me this season as I'm willing to give.

CTID, or they do, whichever comes first, wherever we may be.

if I thought my team could not win a match no matter what the circumstances, then I would not to to any match...........now the last time I counted we still had two left, and another 4 teams in trouble with us.

No I will not be hit hard if we get relegated, I have been relegated more times than I can poke a stick at. It has been a long time since we were in the basement, but at least we will have a club to support.

there's a thing called bogey teams and chesterfield away (racking my brain for recent results since nicky law played for the spireites) is a bogey game. never remember us getting owt there and that is why we will definitly go down (and the fact that the lads couldn't raise their game with home advantage).
