Fuming Julian Rhodes has hit out at "disgraceful" claims that City could face a third administration if they are relegated.

Two national newspapers today carried the report which alleged the club were up to £16m in debt.
But Rhodes, who has spoken to the club's lawyers, insisted: "That is utter garbage. There is not a grain of truth in the story which could have caused us untold damage.
"We are in talks with several potential investors and I've already had one on to me wondering what on earth is going on. These papers may see it as a throwaway line but it's disgraceful and they have picked the wrong club to do it to this time.
"The only debts really are the ones owed to me and they are nowhere near the amount being suggested. We are up to date with all our other payments.
"You think about where we've come from since 2002 when we did have astronomical debts. We are practically debt free other than what is mine.

"That is why I'm furious about this and aim to make sure they do not get away with it."

We are in talks with investors well forgive me if I don't really believe him on that one, how many times is that line going to be used.

He goes onto say the only debts BCFC have are owed to him and that we are practically debt free which ties in with the clean slate we have been hearing about.

On Radio Leeds Derm Tanner said that JR had told him that the total debt was £3 million, does this sound right?
They are up to date with all inland revenue payments etc and are looking into possible budgets for whatever happens next season

Yeh, he had a go on the official site too.

Julian Rhodes has reacted with fury to "scandalous" claims that Bradford City will be forced back into administration if they go down.

Two national newspapers today carried the rumour and suggested the club have debts approaching £16m.

But angry chairman Rhodes said: "It's utter rubbish and we will be discussing these comments with the club's highly paid lawyers.

"The stories are so far wide of the mark it's untrue. I'm furious they have done this and just made up the figures like I have done throughout the season."

I wouldn't be surprised if we were heading towards another admin.

The thing is he talks about investors, yet that could be anything from a Russian Billionaire taking over the club to a company sponsoring an advertising hoarding right down to a supporter buying a season ticket or even buying a match day programme. He isn't going to say much about any new investor as he was made to look like a clown by Etherington last year, but lets just hope there is somebody waiting in the wings.
