Is an away game, then i hope the club we are playing has a massive away capacity.
With around 16 out of 23 away games next season within less than an hour and halfs drive away,we could easily take 3/4000 for the opening away game of the new season.

If we are up there in the top 3,then i think we will give most teams, their highest home gate of the season, when Stuart McCalls Bradford Army rolls into town.

I would be more than happy with a Wycombe away game on the 4th of August ...

Travel time under 25 mins..

Depart for Ghana in a very happy mood with a top away win...jump: jump: jump: ...

The season kicks off on the 11th. A cruise down the southbound A1 in the sunshine for an away day at Darlo would suit me just fine tup:

Don't they sometimes kick off the season with a lower league match on the Friday night (live on Sky)?

Even if not, we must be clear favourites for at least one live game from the handful Sky will grudgingly pick from League 2.

hopefully great times will return and memorable away days, i can't wait for the fixtures so i can plan my few london trips and a few home games. let's get the attendance up in VP first though and make sure we start to make our home ground a fortress again, and start winning there!

I wonder if the Lincoln home game will see no segregation - should there be a need for it at that one?

In the context of the occasion - no, there'll be no need!!

Things will be friendly and emotional i'm sure.....

They're not usually as friendly as you might think tho (us apart you'd like to think) - they have a naughty little firm in the LTE (lincoln transit elite) tho do those Imps!!!

Rochdale away would be nice, their away end is the nicest stand in the ground and holds 4,000.

we took a fair few to that cup demolition, good atmosphere. one of the best things will be being able to stand at a few grounds.

I have bad memories of being chased through the City of Lincoln early 80's - mind youw e probably asked for it by letting everyone know who we were :-0

I would welcome an away trip first game as it would mean the first home would be the tuesday evening. I think evening kick offs in summer at the beginning of the season are the best and i think an evening kick off under the flood lights at VP for McCall's first home game as manager would make for an imense atmosphere.

its a decent stand is that, it's like our east stand!

I enjoyed Rochdale, mainly due to the win, but we made some decent noise that day!!
