Ok..here's me playing Devils advocate...

Its all speculation isn't it - until Stuart and JR actually confirm it and show the contract? I can't see evidence of that on the OMB, BBC,SKY,Sheffield Utd websites. And before you all send me links to the T&A and Yorkshire Post and all the other newspapers - that exactly what they are - Newspapers. We're all very quick to slag of JR's publicity/propaganda stunts in the past to drum up bums on seats - so why is this any different? The only thing that has got this whole bandwagon rolling, is that Stuart was told that he wouldnt be considered for the Sheff Utf job. There's plenty of other clubs out there looking for a manager that can pay better wages and have a better financial structure than us. If Stuart has or is going to sign something - then why hasn't he done it yet instead of going on holiday? (and before someone says..he's cancelled it...how do you know that? And before someone says BFB...how does Mike know that?). Now were talking about investment, Wayne Jacobs etc - where has all that come from?

If Stuart is reading all the sites and all the fans comments, then I think he will realise just how massive the level of expectation is for him to pick the team, identify future players, signings, attendences, investment, promotion etc....

Seems to me that we are all saying 1+1 = Stu.

Newpapers and media companies are generally all part of the same 'family' and get thier news (especially regional news) from just one or two sources. Its then sold to all the newspapers who think it will make a good 'story'.

I can see were you're all coming from but i just think the club would have come out and said something had McCall not been appointented.

Not necessarilly denied it but said they haven't finishined the process and that they haven't appointed anyone for definant. The club would not let it get this out of hand.

Plus the t&a would completley arse up its (very strong) relationship with the club were it to print a piece of fiction on such a large scale.

The t&a rely on Bradford City and have almost exclusive access in parts. It would be to big a risk for them to print it were it not fact.
