Someone on the T&A messageboard suggested we might be interested in this lad. He had a cracking game for York in play offs despite them losing in the end.

Has anyone else heard this name banded about? if so is it from one of your many credible sources or is just some pub rumour?

I have been impressed by him - Commanding central midfielder who breaks up play, gives his all and looks to have a useful range of passing. Exactly what we have been missing.

Pretty sure york would demand a fee though!

I've read good reports of him all season in the YP, wasn't he captain for a while? I reckon Macca will more likely go for players let go from higher clubs although Wolves got a beauty with Kightly from Grays Ath, there are players out there.

we are always linked with him...originally a rumour/suggestion from BfB years back that we should sign him....

he was all the rage at the crescent a few seasons back then 'disappeared' for a while not sure if that was a dip in form or injury. i'll have a word with a st york fan and ask what he's like.

He was leaps and bounds above the other players on the pitch - hope there is some truth in the rumour, if investment does materialise then we need to start looking below us cos there are some quality bargains to be had!
