What I can't understand is why the hell the ref abandoned the game? :confused:

Hasn't that given the idiot fan a victory? Sweden had been given a penalty in the 89th minute with the scores at 3-3 so it was highly likely Denmark would lose! This fan runs on tries to twat the referee and manages to get the game abandoned! Why? Could the ref not carry on after having an arm around his neck for a second? Typical soft foreigner! :rolleyes:

I do not blame the ref for one minute, if all he got was a slap round the neck for giving the penalty, what would have happened to him if it had been scoredjawdrop:

I think we have all wanted to chin the ref at one time or another, usually when they cock something up pretty badly, thing is the ref was absolutely right to give the penalty.

The people getting the stick should be the defender who lashed out, and the "fan"who tried to attack the ref.

What it boils down to is no ref, no game, proved perfectly in this instance.

You can't imagine how hard this has been to write, defending refs what next?
