On Bravo +1 now (Mon 11.30pm). Interesting scenes if you like that kind of thing. But Danny Dyer...what a prick...can't stand the man...it's like he's still in character for every part he's played....playing the tough cockney...what a pillock!

Just before theT international one they did a British clubs one. On the Yorkshire one they did it had Sheffield United (who are nutters), Sheffield Wednesday (could say the same), Leeds and Hull. These looked like fans that you wouldn't mess with.......Bradford was also mentioned...........all 2 of them and one of them was a fat lad no older than 18.

No need for football violence anymore anyway, it's meant to be a family game

Yes i saw the british ones. Quite embarrasing to see some of the guys on it, they sound and look ridiculous. Each to there own i suppose, as long as it stays away from the grounds and innocent people.

What made me laugh with the Bradford one was the lad turned around and said the police have never caught me because they don't know what I look like!!!! People might call me an idiot but even I wouldn't have said that to a TV camera knowing full well it would probably be on TV............

I know what you mean about Danny Dyer, he certainly thinks of himself as a cockney wide-boy. It's probably easy to live it large from the corporate seats at Upton Park.

He's only doing it because the producer's told him to! The guy is a very good actor IMO, watch Severance for further evidence.

cartmanbantam
12th June 2007, 12:40 PM
Do you think the producer told him to say that the writing he saw on a wall in croatia looked like 'Alien writing'????? Alien: I have enjoyed alot of the films he's in, but there doesn't seem to be any difference between his characters and his 'real' persona, at least in the FF progs. If his producer is telling him to do that then he's just making an idiot of him. IMHO.

LOL....he likes to hink he is tough cos he can "act" tough...he was good in the film but should stop acting for real life situations.. Cant stand folk like that

Well he's been on a few chat shows and he is obviously 'a lad' but I don't think he tries to act especially hard or owt in those more natural situations.

I'm not being funny but maybe his producer telling him on FF to act tough does make a fool out of him in your opinion but I don't think you're the key demographic for this show or even Bravo the channel.

The way the show is presented adds a bit of oomph to what is essentially a documentary. Lee Sharpe did a similar programme on a similar subject on Bravo a few years ago and it was as boring as feck.

Well i suppose if him acting like a cocky cockney biggin it up large boy impresses the channels 'key demographic' then thats their call. As i am not part of that key demographic as you so rightly pointed out maybe i should just keep my mouth shut and go and do some ironing eh :D

Danny Dyer is my favourite british actor, he is funny in severance and plays the part well in ff

Yes i agree, wouldn't say he's my favorite but i like him in his films. But he doesn't seem to switch off from his characters, thats my problem. I'm not having a go at his acting skills.

The problem is he was showing us people who have been at war recently. If there was no football they went to another sport and so on. The former yugoslavia stuff is not really the same kind of thing we get here.

Totally agree, they were totally out of control. I was nearly sick when they revealed that a member of the Gravediggers (Partizan Belgrade?) raped a member of the Dynamo Zagreb firm to humiliate him. That's got bollocks all to do with football hooliganism, it was just sick. I was absolutely appalled.

Jimmy enjoyed that bit and it also made him sick, well his todger to be precise! bishop:

He's trying to raise enough money to join the "gravediggers" himself now! sex: roflmao:

LOl----- sounds like a couple of young hoods in Auckland recently- they robbed a couple of Dairies (corner stores) at knifepoint, but the stupid idiots had used a credit card for a purchase while casing the place.
