One of the best left backs of all time. Seen as how he's not on our TV screens week-in-week-out, I've never really appreciated how good he was at shooting until I saw this video of him.

This is his Top 10 goals, although the quality on a couple of the clips isn't great, some of the goals he scores are out of this world!

Number two is my favourite. How he scores from that angle is beyond me!

"1 of the best left backs of all time" - total rubbish mate - as a defender he was crap!!
As a left sided attacking full back or midfielder - then yep, good player who could hit a ball and score cracking goals!!
As a proper defensive left back - nowhere near one of the greats, Pearce was much, much better, nowadays id much rather have someone like Wayne Bridge - being serious....

He modelled his shooting technique on mine. I'm waiting for Joe Brett to get my catalogue of top 10 goas on youtube so you can see just what I mean. Only stumbling block is I've yet to score goals 8, 9 and 10. ;)

Spot on KB! Roberto Carlos was a poor defender but is probably one of the greatest strikers of the ball ever.

Would agree there that free kick is unreal number 1...it gets soooo much bend!

I don't know about that. I watched him on Sundays in La Liga for Real and he was a far better defender than he was for Brazil. He still has pace to burn and the strength of an Ox. I saw him track back nearly the length of the the field and still catch up with the right-winger and make a clean tackle.

P.S. The goal against Jamaica WAS against the Don!

LMFAO Wayne Bridge hahahaha

A Christiano Ronaldo, Robben - even a Giggs in full flow would rip him to bits mate!!....
Like i say - as a wing back - no-one better, but as a defender - no way, take the piss as much as you want, but if i were a manager and wanted a proper left back who defended - i'd rather have Bridge!!
