Im in 2 minds about technology affecting decisions within the game, yes it would be good for us if someone scored for us and it was given when the referee may have not given it with the naked eye!
But also these decisions give us loads to talk about, i mean how boring would it be without controversy??

We're only talking about goal line technology here though, so there'll still be alot of controversial decisions, just not as costly as some that are being made now! The fact is that the whole point of football is to score goals, if the ball crosses the line and the ref/lino doesn't think it went in then you've been cheated.
For me goal line technology (hawk eye) is the ONLY technology that should be incorperated into the game.

Refereeing mistakes and errors are part and parcel of the game, it's what makes the game so good. The beauty of footy is it's the same game for everyone wether you play for Liverpool or The Dog and Duck, so the same rules should apply to all levels. If Liverpool have Hawjeye, so should the pub teams. That's not possible, so it should stay out of the professional game.

No, nbecause I don't think anybody needs it. The game might as well be refereed from a TV studio if it starts going on that way.

why not? at least it will get rid of the likes of Joe Ross and the mistakes like Eddie Johnsons 'offside' goal last season!

The refs and linesman in our leagues are useless yes we all make some mistakes but these lot are too arrogant to admit to most mistakes.that Pedro Mendes "goal" against man utd my dead nan could see that was over the line even from the halfway line you would have seen it was in but alas not given.
Just seen on TV a west ham goal which was given with tevez actually hitting it OFF the line it didnt go over and he was offside by a mile but given that could have cost somebody a place in the Prem and 50 million squiddles.
Im all for it

I Know which goal you mean and how neither the linesman or ref spotted it and disallowed it is beyond me? it should never have been allowed!

Both would still knock ten bells out of you
As for the "hawk eye" trial, I don't see it as a bad idea but it's not going to pick up every decision
