Best bid or bully boy tactics of "I will take you to court if I don't get what I want"?

FFS he threatened that he would take to court anyone that challenged the CVA...............

He might have the club but the Football League aren't happy and haven't granted transfer of the Football League Share, so Leeds might exist but they don't have a league to play in at the moment.

Yep just read that so Bates still might have to sell
Subsequent to the Revenue's challenge, we have kept both HMRC and the Football League fully informed in order that both parties could continue to consider their respective positions. It has not been possible to reach agreement with the Football League on any workable basis that would enable the administrators to sell the club with the benefit of the Football Share in the short term.

I think the IR will have their say too. Leeds fans aren't happy with the news from what I've seen.

Redbus are not as well, but are not considering legal action.

Was looking at a poll earlier on Evening Post website and only 7% wanted Bates in control

Surely the IR will be looking at how the whole deal has been handled. Wonder what this "undisclosed" fee is all about as well. From what Redbus were saying on Sky Sports News, Redbus were not given as much time as Bates had to look at accounts etc. Also no accounts were available from April.

Didn't someone on the Leeds Supporters Trust once say something him, so Bates banned him from the ground? Bates is one of these that stamps his feet if he doesn't get his own way.

The fans emailing in to Sky Sports News are not happy :D

Did anyone see the Bates phone call on Sky Sports News just now..............jesus the guy must be going in the head!!!!

Apparently he never liked the Redbus deal because they said that Leeds had a nice ground

He can't see what the IR are moaning about as the money offered is good

By this time next week, Leeds will have 5 new players............don't think so Ken

That it is only a few Leeds fans that don't like him been at Bellend Road and they can stop away.

As for those that put a bid in against him they are not welcome at the club

That Guy from Redbus said his consortium tabled a bid of £40m, so if that was the case Ken Bates would have tabled a bid bigger than that. What a joke, if I were the football league and the IR I'd want to see a full breakdown of what KPMG have done and full details of all bids before handing them their Football League share back.

Apparently that might not be known till at least next year!!!!

Something dodgy has definatly gone on. Redbus also claimed that they would have had about £20 million to spend on the squad and if Leeds got back into the Premiership the creditors would get a bit more money as they would share out £5 million between them.

Bates on the other hand probably offered them a peanut
