We have our first pre-season game on monday, and i would hate to think we started the season with a team who have never met each other!!:confused:

I know we must be patient but ffs - we are not even being linked with anyone, bar Evans & the RB from Geordieland!!

We have what about 10 trialists...we dont know half of who is on trial with us maybe there would be a few in there!!!!! Take a chill pill dude, we are ages away from the season starting and everytime we announce we are talking with x y or z another team comes in and steals them out from under us so im glad its all quiet!!!1

Aye we have about 8-10 trialists so im sure we'll have all positions covered. Bare in mind that most of these players have been on trial since we cam back from pre-season so it is likely that when we make our signings many of them will have been playing together since the 1st July. Some things i've picked up on:

* It looks like were cooling our interest in Thomas Harban now that Gate is on trial, it was mentioned in the T&A the other day that were looking to get Nathan Joynes on a season long loan but no mention of Harban.

* Wouldn't surprise me if we signed all four of Kris Gate, Paul Evans, Scott Phelan and Nathan Joynes. That just leaves us with back up Goalkeeper, left back and left wing to fill.

Can't see the Brandon one, if we sign Phelan and Evans then thats four or even five central midfielders along with Bentham, Penford and Johnson. We've already got Omar Daley and Joe Colbeck on the right wing.

We need a midfield of ball winners and ball players... Brandon, from what I've seen, is very useful as the latter.
