As an ex-scummer released by the mighty Darlo he will have to put in some fairly magificent performances to get me on side.
Still, give him a chance...

Looks like Greg Abbott might have had some input into getting him a trial

Would be an average signing, a decent squad player at least. According to Darlo fans he has some skill and can run all day, but his shooting and crossing is of questionable ability, sounds like Ben Muirhead mark 2.

L**ds fan here at work said he looked promising as a youngster but lost his place to Aaron Lennon

Somebody on the omb says Macca is trying to get Paul Heckingbottom back to VP. Would be a good signing for us and we need a left back

That sounds good. Think he got player of the year before he moved.

Heckingbottom would be great.
Simon Johnson could be a very useful squad player. We have room in the squad for another forward and this is one who will give us options.

Stuart has certainly learned one thing off Warnock... fill your squad with strikers.

Heckinbottom would be a good addition. Some were peeved he jumped ship in 2004 but we were in admin and Sheff Wed were always going to be hard for him to turn down.

Heckingbottom signed for Barnsley in Jan 2006 and was almost ever-present for them last season.

I read the title on this thread and thought that Bowyer was back in court.

He could be decent for us. He can play on either wing or upfront and he has a decent goalscoring record.
I think he's a similar type of player to Weir-Daley.
