Does anyone seriously think they are coming?
I cannot see it myself. If Macca signs them I'll eat my hat (if I had one).
Just think they have been mentioned out of wishful thinking and the rumours have snowballed.
Would be a brilliant sign if they did come though.

Aye, they'd both be superb signings and I'd feel my bet on us to win the League would be much safer if it happened!
From what I've heard Brandon doesn't care about what league he is in and he's not too bothered about the money, he just wants to play for his home town club and be near his family, it's whether we can reach an agreement with the TB's that's worrying, especially seen as they've re-opened talks with Blackpool!
As for Heckingbottom, I only heard the rumour yesterday and don't believe it for one second. He was a superb player when he was here last time (won player of the season if I remember correctly) and we're in desperate need of a left-back!
I'm hoping it's true but I seriously doubt it!

did i see a different Heckingbottom to everyone else ???
I thought he was slow and cumbersome granted he would be good in this league but he wasnt good for us.He was average in a poor team !!!

He did win player of the season...but like all our fullbacks over the years (present assistant manager accepted) I've never had that much confidence in them! There is always that wobbly moment when they get caught out in the corner and end up passing it to the oppo centre forward - even Simon Francis!
Hecks was ok though...and he score some too. Does he still have the mullett? :)

I am in agreement with you. Steady yes but was a little suspect against pace. Prefer a younger player - there one for the future to cover for our central pairs pace.

Nope i saw the same one too mate - vastly overrated whilst he was here, he was solid and consistant, which is why he won all the player awards - everyone else was **** that season!!
He was the average best of a bad bunch!!
Would be good at this level tho!!

Don't forget Lewis Emanuel was a legend though. I'd have him back in a flash. Named my 2 cats after him.
Hmmm.... perhaps I do have an unhealthy obsession with City left backs...

There's no chance Heckingbottom is coming back. Like others have said he's been a regular at Barnsley and they're also getting rid of their other left back Robbie Williams to Hudders.
I doubt they'd let both left backs leave!
