Yes, from memory he signed on loan at the same time as Etienne Verveer.
Surely you can not leave out Etienne Verveer? A crap player, but the man credited with the best ever acting performance in a city shirt getting Tom Cowan sent off in the game against Town with his dying swan act. It was a joy seeing the Town fans so irate, talk about throwing a beefjump:

Michael Proctor for his solo performance against the Dingles.
We also had Steve Staunton on loan at one point and Steve Harper in goal for one game.

Steve Banks, how many penalty's did he save!?
Stephen Warnock. He wasn't actually that good tbh but it looks good having him on here now thta's he's played in the Premiership and Champions League with Liverpool and now with Blackburn!

I thought Warnock looked very good for city BUT to be perfectly honest i thought Matthew Etherington looked even better.

I didn't think he was bad but I didn't think he stood out much tbh like Andrew Taylor did.
Obviously he's improved dramatically over the last few seasons.

He wasn't technically on loan!
If I remember correctly, his contract was terminated with Harbour View for a year and we signed him for that year but after the contract was up he resumed a contract with Harbour View! This is apparently the way it works in Jamaica!

THat is technically correct...that is actually exactly what happens here as well, although we just call it a loan!

Verveer was built up as a superstar who had played for ajax and was loaned at the same time as Eddie Youds. He scored in our 1-0 over Bristol Rovers at home but appart from getting Cowan sent off did nothing else. Youds scored twice against Peterborough before returning to Ipswich to play in the 9-0 defeat at old trafford then we signed him, the rest as they say is history.
