At the moment -- but are SM and WJ doing the right thing?
They have sent out completely different sides in both halves of the 2 matches, they are having a good look at all the players, trying them in other positions and learning and assessing the players -- to me this is all good -- or would fans rather see us beat N/L teams? -- Stu and Jakes are on the ball

Aye, I agree! The fact is that at the moment we don't have a full squad! We have aload of trialists and just seeing how they perform in training isn't good enough!

Macca and Jakes need to see how these players perform during a match, how certain players work together, and see their strengths and weaknesses. With the amount of players we have on trial the only way to do this is to send out two totally different teams for each half (kind of like playing two 45 minute friendlies).

I couldn't give a crap if we lost last night, it's not about results at the moment, it's about getting players match fit and assessing the trialists. Once these have been assessed (hopefully after the Burnley game) then we can concentrate on getting the team right for the final 3 friendlies!

I agree too....every trialist should get a crack at playing so we can see them in some kind of match action and atmosphere.

The teams cant play a full 70-90 minutes straight away anyway as they are nowhere near fit enough and it will lead to injuries...This is the last thing you need when you are thin on the ground already!!
