Hiya fellas and lasses...

I'm Scotty and I'm the editor of the Stockport County website www.county4life.com (http://www.county4life.com)

I'm currently updating the away day feature on the website and would like some information about Valley Parade.

The current page looks like this - http://www.county4life.com/awaydays.htm#111860467 I have tried to obtain so much information through research but I'm now calling for YOUR input...

have I missed anything? Is there anything you'd like to add? Are the directions correct? Please I need your help. Please either answer to this post, leave a message on the website or email me at county4life@hotmail.co.uk

I'll look forward to your replies...

Good luck for the season, apart from when we play you guys...

Scotty

Excellent, Scotty. Nice little write up. I notice you've just nabbed Paul Tierney on loan - God help you! tup:

By the way, I notice you don't have Bradford City listed under your scarf collection. Make sure you bring a bit of extra cash this time and get one of our beautiful Harry potter numbers!

The thing is an'all "Scotty" - re Tierney - its not just one of those "ah well he's shite" bitter comments from fans from one of his old clubs either - he is absolute dog kack....can't tackle, can't distribute, positional awareness is shocking, but worse of all he's a bottler who's head goes down!!

Watch him have a screamer against us now....

Thanks for the comments guys...Paul Tierney's local, so maybe him being 'back home' he'll start to play.

I heard he was a superb player, but I gues6s if he's no good for you guys then what's he doing at Stockport...I much prefer Michael Rose at LB anyway, hopefully he'll be fit soon.

Anyway, didn't you have Owen Morrison and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson at VP?

Yes, we did, the former (Morrison) was a guy with enormous talent and potential but without the application or the attitude to match. He also liked an ale a bit too much.

MBW was very good but unfortunately not consistent enough in the last season or so.

Tierney was bigged up as something special when we got him. It took all of about 5 minutes to realise we'd been sold duff information. Honest, you won't find a single City fan who will give him any credit as a footballer. He was the worst player I have ever seen grace the turf at Valley Parade.

Bridgey was a good lad but hampered by injury and poor form in a poor team last year.

Morrison was just a lazy sod who had talent but his whole attitude stank the place out.

We also had Aaron Wilbraham on loan who had a couple of decent games alongside Windass

Yes Morrison was a classic coaster, he scored the winner on what I think was his debut in the local derby away at Huddersfield Town, put in a few more reasonable performances and seemed to think 'well thats me for the season I can do bare minimum from now on'

Bridge-Wilkinson similarly had talent but was also of the 'Can't be arsed' brigade that seems so prevalent in young modern footballers today.

Not been to Stockport for many a year, see you have now seated the away end but left it uncovered! Not very charitable.

Yes. He was so bad that our lass refers to **** footballers on a sliding scale in comparison to "that number 3". "That number 17" (Petta) got close but didn't get the cigar. And she hasn't got a clue about footy, she even has to ask me which way the teams are playing, at least she could tell a **** player from a good one, and with that she is more qualified than Colin Todd!
