The club had originally considered selling Car park Tickets to THE HIGHEST BIDDERS. This idea had not been taken forward.

However, they were not sending out any reminders/renewals etc. IT IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO CONTACT THE CLUB.

FURTHERMORE, THE PRICE FOR ALL CAR PARKS IS NOW £200 - TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. LAST YEAR IT WAS £100.

What a complete and utter shambles, and what a way to run a business.

Goodwill in times of need ??? Forget it.

That's only the end bit to how his saga panned out. The issues to do with the parking are understandable in terms of not having as much (why? have Intersonic nabbed a load for their staff or what?) but the way this guy has been treated is ridiculous when everything that the Club is supposed to be projecting is that they are a customer-focused business. Seems that the Club still insists on testing the patience of ordinary fans who have done their utmost to keep the Club going in times of need and still decides to **** on the average fan! One for you, Chucks.

Those who drive to football for the whole season and in doing so do not consume alcohol are GAYERS of the highest order and should have to pay more for the priveledge of being a non-drinking nufter!!

Matt, if you read the full link he lives 40 miles away and brings a 77-year old with him, who finds it difficult to walk any great distance. I think his issue was more about the way the Club have dealt with it or not as the case may be.

I agree though anyone who drives to the game who doesn't have a disability or isn't looking after someone who does is a GAYER of the highest order! ;)

As a GAYER OF THE HIGHEST ORDER myself he will have to cough up i suppose although i suppose being dealt with by the chairmans wife is how this bad treatment comes about!

Personally i get myself in the maestros car park. 4 quid a pop and share it with a mate about 100 quid per season! Thats better than 200 notes any day.

BTW what you call/remeber Maestros by denotes how old you are apparently!!

Whenever I drive to City, I park on those streets really near the ground. I think it's Cornwall Terrace or Place or something like that. I always find a space and I've never had a ticket! It must be about 10 years of parking there and never a fine! If I ever do get a £40 fine I think I'll still be up over the years! Don't often drive to City thesedays.

My dad is friendly with the bloke who owns the building just behind the away stand, and I have the keys to get in to that. Best parking at the ground - locked and alarmed and right next door to it.
