I read in the Hartlepool Vital page that Luton ar looking to offload Adam Boyd. Wouldn't he be a very good signing for us? I don't think I've actually seen him play but his record at Hartlepool was good.

Personal life

Boyd has also become famous for his behaviour off the pitch after the ex-boyfriend of a woman he was in bed with caught them and assaulted him. Boyd was then forced to flee naked down a "posh estate" and suffered bruises and injuries to his feet.[6] Boyd refused to take any legal action against his attacker, claiming that he just wants to "forget about it".[23] Ironically, months before during Hartlepool’s pre-season tour in Holland, a streaker ran onto the pitch and danced in front of him.

Add a bit of spice to the dressing room banter!

Reading that Wikipedia page, it seems that's all the physical activity he's had for a couple of years.

He had talks with Darlington a few weeks ago so he can't cost too much if they can agree a fee with Luton.

£170k is the figure the North-East Journal reckoned Darlo were prepared to offer which would presumably put him miles out of our bracket. A season long loan might work though.

At least he's got pace, and no doubt a decent tackle on him! He's also good in the box, so she said!
