It could happen - Hull are being linked with every striker going at the moment and Deano was clear on the fact that he wanted to 'play' for the next two years - & i cant see Hull giving him that chance!!

This might sound daft, but what is the point of doing all we can to get him off the wage bill, to bring him back, and put him on the wage bill?

FFS Beerbitch,i know its hard for you to let go of your hero who you stalked (or was that....got a stalk on everytime you saw him?) around Bradford.Look let him play at Hull and except the fact,he will not be coming back to VP to play for Bradford.
Hes gone,left City,****ed off,jumped ship,batting for the other side,dislikes city and not coming back.:D

We wouldn't pay his wages if we took him back on loan. We'd negotiate a deal where Hull paid for him to play! I'd see it as a positive, he'd wipe the floor with defences in this division.

So you wouldn't want promotion at the first attempt then?

With him - we'd get it would we?
His wage demands would mean that there would be little left to add any one else to the squad, any youngsters would have their confidence knocked and for a number of games due to discipline he would be watching from the stands not helping our cause!! Disruptive influence..... just not worth having around.
Recipe for success - do not think so. I prefer the recipe we will have dished up and at the moment that is not looking that appetising.

How would someone who didn't want to be here and who refused to play in league two have got us promotion at the 1st attempt?

It was an hypothetical question.
Hardly rocket science....

Much as i liked Dean as a City player, i don't think it could ever work. He's too egotistical and a disruptive influence to have under a Manager who's trying to stamp his own mark on the club

Despite the fact the are close friends and he was "sold" without Stuart's blessing?

I was talking to Windass a few weeks ago (ages ago), these aint true at all.
The gaffers told him he'll play if he gets those goals like he did last season.
Plus he's got a coaching role there, so it has it's benefits for the Hull strikers, having a natural born goalscorer as there coach, teach them a thing or 7.

Nah..It'll be a Hull pay his wages to get him first team football. Sad thing is, It's more likely that Windass will be here than McCall next May if the Gruesome Twosome in the Ivory Tower don't frame themselves.

Tempting...but no thanks. It's not from a sauce just a feeling in my waterworks.
